I met Toni Basil by mere accident ...at her house!!!!!!. As a messenger for ABC in 1983, I was given an orden going to someone with an Italian name; to my great surprise...It was her!!!!. She was not taller than 5' 2", skinny and not very attractive, she looked very poor and badly dressed. Her house was kind of a fixer-upper near Olympic/La Brea; some 25 blocks south of Hollywood Blvd.

Those singers are bleeping awful! And they flubbed the chorus. Listen carefully; they sing "oh, Mickey, what a pity you don't understand" twice, when of course it's supposed to be "oh, Mickey, you're so pretty, can't you understand?". It's right at 0:59.
