I also loved the one with the soldier who kept the stone with him. It kept growing darker as he killed more. Then on his day back, he met Kaim and told him that he's waiting for the day the stone gets its shine back. Then a person tries to attack and mug Kaim but the soldier sacrifices himself (obviously not knowing of the immortality). He then tells Kaim that to him, the stone has become a little brighter. After he dies, Kaim looks at the stone and its still as dark as ever.

@Sammy102093 I would like to correct you on one thing. He asks Kaim if the stone was any brighter to which Kaim responds that it had. The soldier dies happy and then it is revealed that it had not grown brighter. Kaim gave the man some hope as he died so that the man could die happy.

When I've first started hannas departure, I wanted to quit the scene and just

play lost odyssey.

But then I read one line. Then one site, then the whole story.

It was so awesome, so well written, so sad..

Its so well written its hard not to cry. Number 1 reason why it works, its because its just telling you the story, its not trying to make you cry. That alone makes the story sad enough for tears. God I hope someday I can write this well.
