The 90s compilation tapes make up the bulk of my collection. They are unlabeled (or at best vaguely labeled) tapes of varying eras that feature a huge mix of content. A tape could go from clips of Family Channel to local news.
Starting around 1999 tapes got cheaper so there would be less "compilation" style tapes and more complete airchecks.
I'm sure he used a TV Tuner to upload from a VHS player. What I'm curious about is what "mid-90s compilation tapes" the creator of this video is referring to--I'm a very nostalgic person and I'd love to see more 90s tv clips.
