1980 turbo trans am, 4.9 liter turbo charged You can tell from the turbo hood and rims. that year was the worst amd last year for the second generation T/A. There is no way that car has 750 HP. There was no upgraded for the turbo either unless you changed the whole motor.

@brianvan09 agreed, I had to put a back half roll cage in the ass end of my 78 formula, it had an olds 403 that was running around 580hp and I had the chaises twist on me almost 6 degrees the first time I launched hard without the cage. Now I have the Olds out and am currently in the process of putting an LS7 from Katech in its place making more than 650hp. My olds would have roasted the doors off the one in the vid with its idle only, the LS7 will by just looking at it.

@slasher7555 79's could have the pontiac 400 which was rated at 220hp and only came with a 4spd. most got the olds 403 which was 180hp and only got autos and also could have gotten the 301 which was 150-170 hp depending on the model you got. 80-81 could've gotten the turbo 301 which was rated at 220hp or the same n/a 301 which was rated at 150-170.
@OldestManInCanada best thing to do is first pull that shitty turbo motor out, then drop in a big block, second throw on a 78 or 77 front end, then you should be alright, but that turbo motor is crap and the 81 nose piece is ugly lol
@slasher7555 `79 Trans-Ams did come with a 400 Pontiac, the last year you could get the W/72 400ci in a Trans-Am, I bought one new that year, with that option. As in the previous years where the Olds V8 was also available, the shaker decal has T/A 6.6 on it if it has the W/72 motor, 6.6 liter or blank for the other 400 (L78) or the 403 Olds (L80), depending on the year.
The car in this video is not stock, but like other I doubt there is 750 horse under the hood. Nice burnout nevertheless.

I use to own a mild 305 Iroc that would pull same burnout as that. So maybe 250hp. I now own a 74 Vette 468 cubes(see my clips) which has just under 600hp (flywheel dynoed) so maybe 450 -480 at wheels. Its near impossible to control with the streets on. So 750 is not likely from the Bandit.

This car DOES have potential, this car DOES NOT have 750 hp. I can't believe the camera man is impressed with that. I would like to see this car either restored or tricked out, it would be nice either way. But really, the lying has got to stop.

I built this car from popcycle sticks and it definately has 7600 HP, I mean, 750 HP. I used the brakes just to show that even just using onion juice for fuel, I can still spin the tires! BULLSHIT PUSSY LIAR!!!! Try 180 HP at BEST! FAG!
