The current laws against cannabis reminds me of the classic t-shirt where the pelican has a frog halfway down its throat but the frog is choking the bird hanging on for its life. It's entitled, "Never Give Up." I can't stand people who refuse to see what will someday be. Slavery... OK we'll stop. Alcohol prohibition... OK we give in. Women's rights... OK we'll let them vote. Segregation... OK they can use our water fountains. Next up: gay marriage and cannabis. Stop choking us & just give up.

That's not true that the federal government don't get any money from the taxes, a lot of people are now having to file taxes to the IRS, and they take it no questions asked. In addition, if the state is taxing it, then the FEDERAL Governemnt is getting money from there too.
