  • I love this song, I love this movie, I love the main character(s).

I've literally changed since I've seen this, with my new primary goal being to be better at life than that guy.

  • I quit smoking and started vaping a month ago

  • anyone know the ending credits song name

  • Thank you.

  • anyone know whose version of the song this is?

  • @barryo924 Tex Williams

  • AMERICAN SPIRITS, We killed all the indians, now there tobacco will save our lives (@ least make it last longer)

  • I always go out for a smoke when I hear this song... I need to take it off my playlist, I keep running out of deathsticks.

  • 4 people were smoking West :-P

  • I love this song! =D

  • @Vabapaase same here man. awesome song and animation. i would love to know who the artist is

  • Love it!

    :-)

  • smoking is so fucking disgusting i dont know how people do it :S

  • @sageyash normally the tobacco is rolled into a paper with a filter commonly placed on the end of the cigarette. After this the cigarette is then placed in the mouth of the user, then when they light the cigarette up with a lighter they need to draw in air for the cigarette to take the flame better. After that, it is smoked purely by 'sucking' on the cigarette, and exhaling the smoke. Hope I helped you understand how people smoke cigarettes now =D

  • @NefariousMrG nah that wasn't funny try again :P

  • wonderful

  • Can I borrow a cigarette?

  • HHahhahahahh OMFG i love it so much♥♥♥♥♥♥

  • lol.. it's stuck in my head :D

  • on 1:07 u can see the coat of arms of saxony, greetings from dresden ^^

  • great movie

  • i love typography

  • one of the best song ever ;)

  • Jason Reitman focuses on the emphasis of opening title sequences because he knows that they are a crucial way to enticing the viewing audience before the feature appears. It was probably made in adobe after effects. Very well done! I enjoy Jason's opening title sequences.

  • I heard they're making more movies based on his books.

  • BRAVO

  • People just shut up and smoke.

  • i quit smoking 3 months ago!!

  • im your fan :)

  • Anyone can quit smoking. It takes a man to face cancer.

    - Someone, forgot

  • @CommanderPayne LMAO dude thats awesome

  • when i saw this sequence i immediately wantend to smoke a cigarette :)

  • damn what a song I just HAD to buy it immediately

  • anyone know where theres a good quality version of that song? looked on youtube but i only found different versions, a live one or two and a couple of crappy ones.

  • quit about 3 years ago. I generally try to discourage people from smoking, but i absolutely hate how smokers are demonized. People who drive hummers are just as bad for your health as second hand smoke, so treating smokers like public enemies #1 is a bullshit double-standard move.

  • smoke smoke smoke that ciggirette but wat version of it?

  • i don't smoke, but i saw the titles for this movie the other day and i LOVED it!

  • lovey song. lovely design.

    very diynamic, full of desire.

with an expectation a bit higher

    Gentleman, light that fire.

  • very inventive title sequence, most certainly a Jason Reitman plus side idea.

  • That song is considered by some to be the very first "Hardcore" song.

    Believe it, or else!

  • damn, i actually missed the title sequence when i watched this in the cinema.

  • i love smokes lol

  • what s the name of the song??

  • Smoke Smoke Smoke That Cigarette

  • the soundtrack of the movie is amazing, all the songs especially Greenback dollar at the closing titles

  • what is this song called?

  • Merle Travis - "Smoke that cigarette"

  • Its Tex Williams, but who cares =oD

  • I have the Tex Williams song, but it's just not the same version as this. Does anyone know where is this taken from? Because I like this version much better..

  • I also like this version better, but I've been searching and I haven't found any other results...

    Anyone?

  • Found it! This version is performed not by "Tex Williams", but by "Tex Williams & His Western Caravan"... Hope that helps..

  • Thanks! I'll try it out.

  • @gabrius99 thank you man XD

  • This is the TEX williams version, you can clearly hear at 1:44 when he say

"Well, Tex, excus me please, but i just gotta have another cigarrete"

  • Nick Naylor is the greatest man ever.

  • PUFF PUFF

  • i think its forbiden to smoke in movies now a days :) but really nice movie :)

  • You're an idiot.

  • Not forbidden, just marketing. Protagonists don't smoke anymore in mainstream films because smoking carries a negative psychological attachment.

  • Such a great movie.

Anyone ever notice that you don't see one cigarette the entire movie?

  • well you see a cigarette, but no body actually smokes one.

  • Wrong, at the end we can see about 10 or 20.

  • no, u are wrong.

  • amazing title design!

  • love the lyrics.

  • I share SIMILAR ideas, way about me, outlook, and persuasion as Aaron's character. I am currently for hire & looking for 100K+.

I have FEW moral restraints. Money is my prime motivator.

  • Such a wicked song.

    Smoking. w00t.

  • I love this movie, and now that I have Seen Juno (also by Jason Reitman), I notice the similarities in the opening sequences. They both have a lyrical song, animation, and same amount of credits.

  • same director

  • what is the name of the song??

  • Ooooh- I love this song! And the film as well.
