  • Talented folks, but WAY too slow and schmaltzy. WAY. Go watch Stubby Kaye do it.

  • wonderful! Great use of lighting, LOVE the mobile benches...amazing voices as well...all around great job!!!

  • haha. i play the general for my school's production. yus!

  • he was great. but this was actually one of the worst productions of guys and dolls i have ever seen. it was pretty awful, talent was good though. direction horrific.

  • I always noticed..

School productions have the best lighting!!!! XD just saw a bunch of teens production of this at the neptune theatre and like this the lighting was amazing. Look at the professional ones and im like '...ok?'

Students just seem to work harder on these things

  • @darklady5 no thy dont, u must see some shit real plays

  • @davidmoorcroft and @musicalwatch - thanks for the lighting comments! I designed the lighting for this production at CMU and it is very cool to see people enjoying it on YouTube.

  • i prefer this version to the broadway version! great lighting too!

  • This is Awesome! I Just casted as Nicely Nicely in our Production. I hope we get to do it as good as this!

  • Its simple really you just gota have high energy in a show and this had it by the looks of it well done!

  • Very nice! Inspiration my own high school's upcoming production:)

  • I liked that a lot!

  • i loved the way he sang it... i was just cast for the same part in my high school and i cant wait to sing this

  • Brill! (Y)

  • WAY too slow. Awesome lighting, though!

  • my god! that is the best staging of that number i have ever seen! that guy playing surely surely johnston is fantastic!

  • nicely nicely johnson...

  • Great! Very fun!

  • GREAT JOB! But I dont know if he's necessarily right for this part... He's definitely supposed to be the overweight character actor. But he has a great voice.

  • In the last Broadway revival Nicely was not overweight and it worked. He doesn't have to be, check out their Tony performance on Broadway. Stubby Kaye the original happened to be a large man.

  • on youtube, I mean.

  • Well, the only reason why I say that is in the script there are tiny references to his weight and eating. I'm all for new interpretations of characters and this one seemed to work well.

  • wow.

    (the general)

  • Wow. Hes amazing
