And I'd give anything to be back over there doing the job that I signed up to do, as I sit here in the safety of my own prison I feel empty without not having a task at hand and the guy to my left and right flank doing what we did best.

@Lusa5 Im not going to tell you what to say, think or do, but as a soldier, my view is what does it matter if their iraqi, american, mexican, whatever. They are still a FAMILY, its a difficult spot to be put in but we volunteered for this career. Yes there are some among us that are pieces of work to say the least, but i see that as poor leadership, their section chief or squad leader didnt do their job to teach their soldiers what being a soldier is really about.
@Lusa5 It is alright that you are close to an Iraqi family, but not all Iraqi' are out to kill Americans. I have met many when I went over seas that are very grateful for our service.

you dont have to have 20/20 vision you just have to shoot expert in bootcamp , u cant just sign up to be a sniper you have to be picked for the school, an their called scout snipers its not the sniper corps but good luck to you

I am a soldiers angel to a female medic in iraq, and I do tings to make her comfortable as I can over there, also i always fly my american flag and have my big yellow ribbon on our tree, and it will stay there cause these men & women need all our signs of support and their family's ...god bless them all and may the angels keep them covered too!
