  • kkkkkkk.... não puxa muito não se não vai "torá" a corda... valeu pelo vídeo...

    muito bom

  • nyceeeeeee!!!!..Like to see how others do rope-knots in different places yea..

  • Com um no no meio é foda

  • I learned this from the SAS Survival Handbook.

  • This knot is also called a "wagoner's hitch." The really cool part about how he ties this knot is that the rope is already passed under the spar on the truck. He brings up a bight to make the "ear" and then just pulls on the working end, as the standing end of the bight is already around the spar. If you look at wagoner's hitch in a book, they have you form the "ear" and then try to put the working edge around the spar and it always falls apart. This way is much much easier to tie. Thanks!

  • on another note, given you have the room, because of the positive advantage of this hitch you can use it as a make do block and tackle, no more than 5 passes though or the primary hold will snap.

  • this hitch is correct, here in Australia it is often reffered to as a Trucker's, As A fishermen for years this is the primary knot I used for securing stuff on deck, easily holding secure in cyclone winds. Most of the so called Truckers hitches on Youtube are rubbish, not bad if you like cutting your rope or struggling with a fid. This version falls apart when let slack...... Onya Colhane...Represent

  • @paidda I wasn't planning to shoot this video at all. As soon as I saw him handling the ropes I knew I had to break out the camera. I never thought this video would go this far or generate any controversy. This man works with his ropes every day and ties these knots without thinking twice about them. He was fun to watch and really happy to show what he knew.

  • you bloody americans do not know shit - this knot is correct - all the youtube truckers hitch knots with both the slip knot and american accents are wrong. getting that loop out of the rope is a bastard, but our brazilian won't have to worry though

  • на каком языке он пиздит?

  • that rope itself doesn't look very sturdy. pull it tight enough it might snap.

  • damn mexicans stealing bed again they never learn

  • eu tambem sou amarrador

  • this is a very efficient knot. It is easy to tie in the middle of a rope and just as easy to untie. Notice he never had to touch the end of the rope as you do with a "truckers hitch"

  • He is almost there, that is the first part of a truckies hitch (in a round about sort of way) he missed the second loop and did not feedback to get a double pulley type effect on the tensioning. Old or damaged ropes are a hazard and truckies are generally about not getting hurt or loosing a load. this guy shoud get some new ropes.

  • this arrangement looks effective and looks like it can be untied without difficulty (loops included).

    paulista has my vote. gracias.

  • @g7vgg Go for it. This is how they do it here in Brazil. His load didn't fall apart.

  • @g7vgg It's how it's done all over Australia too. This bloke has a clue don't you worry about that.

  • Very good! Interesting!!!!

  • The name given to this knot in books is the "Wako's Transport Knot"

  • @cwood1311 Here in Brazil it is called the "Paulista", after Sao Paulo.

  • @titetie fuck off with the `titetie`` shit, they cost money, fuck!!, by the time i order them n have em paid for, i coulda tied a truckers knot with a rope b4 they even get the box of ``titeties`` ready for shipping u idiot!!

  • So thats how its done in truckers world ,

Now I know the difference, yet similarities of what is being taught to Studio Technicians.

Go to my channel to see how it is done with quick release.

And in 10 years I have never seen it loosen up on me.

  • Maybe you should post a video on how to buy a ratchet tie down

  • @Colhane where's the fun on that?! this is way more useful to know =)

  • Brilliant guide, cheers for that.

  • not at all clear.

  • that's exactly the way we do it here in Australia.

  • Finally a proper version of the truckers knot, although I tie off diferent but much better than the other shit trying to be passed off as the "Truckers knot"

  • awesome vid, thanks.

  • Good alternative other than the truckers hitch. Thanks for the vid.

  • Ah!! Valeu!! Era esse mesmo que eu queria aprender, procurei vários no YT mas esse é o único que dá continuidade para fazer mais nós.

  • Observando Irmani com as cordas eu não tinha opção não fazer video dele.

  • valeu d+++++

  • great video 5/5 my father taught me that one but he called it the dolly knot

  • NEVER EVER leave that loop hanging out like that! cyclists riding close to trucks have been killed this way.

  • lmao

  • I think what kills the cyclists is riding too close to the truck, not the knot ;)

  • This is the right way to tie this knot, you'll notice the other versions require you to go after the end of the line and feed it through the loop. this version is all done on the bite and unties easily..

(cont.)
