  • First, I read the comments posted in the video (very valuable by the way), omitting the sound. Then I heard it. Great music! Thanks

  • From the moment I began listening to this piece, I wanted more.. more of its richness and textural color and density, and certainly to explore more of Mr. Vaage's music.. I seem to detect the influences of Toru Takimetsu, Iannis Xenakis and perhaps Poul Rouders, at least in this specific piece.. Thank you for posting this.

  • Great Post !!! Thanks !!

  • Thanks for upload, the intensity of this piece kind of remind me of Beat Furrer's concerto for piano and orchestra. BTW, English is also not my first language

  • @Playingtrombone I study composition at a music university, and "academic" is the last word that I would want used to describe my music. xD

  • Thanks a lot, especially the discription of the piece, always benifit from it.

  • Thanks a lot. I appreciate your video and I am a fan of modern academic music. I hope visiting new updates of your videos.

  • @BeachWolf1979 It's unfair that these people criticise the term "academic". Mayvbe they shd realize that not everyone speaks English as first language.

  • I didn´t knew this composer. If you have more music from him, please upload it. I really like this piece. Do you know if he teaches, and where? Thanks for posting. The quality of what you upload and the notes that you put are excellent!
