  • @Startwister :DD Coolcool.

  • gefällt mir, very good.

  • You are VERY talented! I am very into drawing and painting space scenes myself. Your work inspires me to try harder. Thank you!

  • @thatascendedSSJ I´m glad, you like my work, and I can be of some influence and inspiration. Thank you for watching!

  • your awsome.

  • @TheHaug97 Thank you!

  • why do you use the saran wrap? what exactly are you doing with it?

  • @tesladrianne Around 8:10 you see me creating dust from the crayon, wich becomes the stars. Now, to keep those stars from falling off, I have to fix them using the wrap and pressing the crayon dust onto the paper. The wrap itself is just for protection. If you pres the crayon down without the wrap, the dust will not stay on the paper, but instead on your arm, and you will smudge the whole colour. Works very good, to keep the stars in place.

  • PS

Great music you choose for your videos

  • @blackoak237 Thank you very much.

Since it is not allowed to use other peoples music (copyright), I have to create my own. I started in 2007, using samples to create some tunes, and it has become very handy for my videos.

  • Hi Startwister I went to a local hobby store here ( I'm from Wisconsin) and found black colored paper called pastel artist paper in large sheets like poster board and it has a smooth surface. Thank you for your vidoes and sharing with all of us,they will be very helpful.

  • @blackoak237 That´s wonderful news! Of course, if you have any more questions, or find something, I didn´t explain in my toturials, just ask.

  • I love your Spaceart. I have been playing around with soft pastels and I was searching for someone that paints space scenes and how to do this in pastels but was only finding the traditional nature scene tutorials. Your work is fantastic, very beautiful. What type of paper are you drawing on? it seems to be a smoother surface than pastel paper.

  • @blackoak237 Thank you, I´ve made a couple of toturials, showing step by step, how I paint, and wich materials I use.

I know the problem with pastel or sand paper. The paper, I use has no structure and is as smooth as regular drawing paper. It comes in all colours and is quite thick. In Germany, we call it tonepaper, I don´t know, if it´s also available in the US, but you should get black coloured paper for spaceart.

  • freaking awesome!!!!

Yes, I agree, the picture at the end looks almost like am astro fotography.

I got a very good program to edit fotos, and I always try to get as close as possible to the nasa images.
