  • I remember when this broke.

  • @DoctorBohr I did too, I was in the car and at the top of the hour the news started with the music from Bewitched I knew she was gone. She was my first crush!

  • I was 2 years old at that time!

  • @oopadur Me, too. Haha.

  • She was a beauty and a great actress. Miss her.

  • I heard that the cause of her cancer was from filming on location in Nevada, near a nuclear test site. I guess it's not surprising that it's being hushed-up. Has anyone heard this??

  • @london2z That story applies to Agnes Moorehead

  • @mgrella63 Endora? Really? My friend said Liz, and others, including John Wayne, died from exposure. But you are probably right. I didn't see anything in Wikipedia about it.

  • R.I.P Elizabeth you will always be in our haerts also (My Mum and Dad have wacht Bewich) we will miss u :(

  • I had been such a fan as a boy and teen that I sent her a birthday card to her Beverly Hills address every year from 1983-1995. My mom, who was one year younger, used to tease me that I was a stalker and might be suspected if she died suddenly. My mom got breast cancer in 1993 and died late in 1994. Elizabeth died 6 months later from colon cancer. I like to think she was in good company. : )

  • ...three years before her death, she and Dick Sargent were the grand marshalls for a parade in Los Angeles. I was able to meet her and reveal myself to be the one who had sent her the cards all those years.

  • Bewitched was on our tv set every week when I was a boy. What a great funny show and I'm glad it was a part of my family life. Peace be with her and her family.

  • As much as I love her, I can't forgive her for leaving Dick York in the lurch as she did.

Unless he did something rotten and cruel to her, I can't for the life of me figure out why she completely shut him out of her life as she did.

  • Very Sexy As Well. I'm Watching Bewitched As I Type This, The Story Is Gorge The Warlock.

  • @AminaBellini

I truly agree with you. I was very saddened to hear of her passing in May, 1995. I always have and always will regard her as one of my favorite actresses, and I truly loved her character on Bewitched. As this ET segment stated, Samantha will be her signature role to many fans. She left us too soon, but we should never forget that God has his reasons. ;)

    Peace!

  • I know someone who did, they were in LA in 1969 they were 9 a good friend of mine. His mom wrote her office and asked if he could meet her. Her office called and said let them know when they got to LA. They did and Bill Asher called them and asked them over the next day. She spent 2 hours with him and his family. It was July 16th, 1969 and she told them she got up early to watch the men take off for the moon. She sent me a signed picture too. Too Billy... Love, Lizzy. he was and still is my be

Dark blue, and Mr.Asher had a Lincoln Town sedan.
