allen is a legend. coulthard bores me, and i was a big DC fan. bring bk james, he made me enjoy the start of races etc. and for all the twats out ther that think he says drop the clutch and LETS go, he acc says drop the clutch an ITS goooo!!!!!!!!!! poor james was only compared to murray walker. compare him to Legard or DC and what do you get? also really enjoyed hungary 06, gr8 chequered flag commentary, il never forget it, gave me a shiver down my spine!! I really like the James Allen Martin Brundle combination. James was very lively and Martin was cool. But now my local sat TV only airs ESPN Starsport's Raceday in which the com'tator is Steve Slater... n i can tell u, Slater's awfuly BORING! he always gets overexcited at the wrong time (like when a driver gets provisional pole - on Q1! - as if the guy already secured pole) ) keeps on repeating the same sentence, which i remember he said during the past race, n just plain dull! miss u JA & MB!

Allen wasn't better then Legard, yes Allen had enthuasism but in my opinion he said more stupid things then Legard. Allen's british bias from 2006 onwards was intolerable for me. Legard isn't much better but at least I didn't want to ram a sock down his throat every five minutes. Who is better then Allen and Legard is the duo of David Croft and Anthony Davidson on five live. They are a great pairing and Croft is a joy to listen to.

Legard would never ever do that, he's such a self obsessed bloke that he doesn't even adknowledge that there's someone else there, leaving no space for Martin to say anything. This was i think Coulthard's greatest win. He made the perfect start and held on to the lead for the whole race.

Considering that in 2002 Mclaren didn't have the quickest car, he showed that with a demon start and great driving round Monaco that you can beat the dominant Ferrari's from that year !!!
