We get our extra verses, we do this for a lot of our repertoire, from simple research, mainly Google but also old hymn-books, etc. Many of the original texts have been edited down, why we don't know now. We reckon any good tune should be sung a few times before one tires of it. Occasionally extra verses turn up which are too bloody and vindictive !
The tenor is the melody line, unlike the C of E music I grew up with where the lead is the choirboy treble and it's pitched too high for everyone!

-- Very nice, very much in the traditional manner of singing sacred harp.

Wow! Where did you get all those verses! We only have two in our book. I really enjoyed this energetic rendition.
