Near broken tool + new tool = waste

1/3 durability left tool + 1/3 durability left tool = win

Now, I agree that it sucks and that it could be way better than it is now, but I would've thought the use it has now is pretty self explanitory (combine two used tools to make one nearly full tool)

Repairing items is worth it. If you have two that are about to break it will make a completely new one without having to waste even more materials. So, you can get three full item uses from two items.

Dwight i think the idea of repairing item is suppose to repair a fully broken diamond pickaxe with another diamond pickaxe that is fully broken so that u get a brand new one. So basically u crafted 2 but really u got just about 3 diamond picks out of 2 hope this helps
