Honestly,

I bet the vocalist has a amazing voice...but this is definitely not his genre to pick around with.

The band can get a more aggressive sound...so it actually sounds as if they are getting into it.

Other than that, Fred always has the sickest funk tbone solos. And Leah's solo was pretty killin'.

I was at this concert. The band was good. Fred was great!! The singer was very weak! i went to Berklee & spent 9 years plaing funk in and around Boston! There a  ton of other singers that are MUCH better!

Not to pile on, but given the very high caliber of Berklee students, they must have been far out of their element to sound so stilted. It's even stranger because they are in their late teens and early 20s, where passion should trump attempts at refinement. Loosen up y'all, and with your talent you'll get so deep in the pocket you won't be able to find your way out!
