  • very beautiful . majestic!

  • Liked and Shared!

  • GREAT VIDEO . we subscribed!

  • Zoo lo zoo lo...

  • This national anthem was sang in Wenshan County, or in kaili, Guizhou, China. I heard Chinese Hmong sang this song in Wenshan County New Year a couple years ago. It's an extremely well written and sang well by those singers. Thanks to our Hmong people in worldwide.

  • damn, for once i feel much more better. we don't even own a grain of dirt in this big world, but atleast we still have a voice through this song to let people know who we are.

  • Hmong dawb= Bai ren. I always thought it was Bai Miao

  • I think all Hmong should adopt this song and make it our "Ogrinal" Hmong Anthem. I hate it when others think that they can make a better one then it keeps changing to the point that there's no definate one. So, all hmong councils out there should put this out into all their communities.

  • How ignorant can I be? I never knew that we had a Hmong National Anthem til today!!! How come we don't use it at Hmong New Years at all times?! I've always heard the Laotian national anthem and the USA's national anthem! I bet that about 60% of Hmong youth now does not know the words to our anthem the way we do with the USA's national anthem..., I'm so sad I just learned this TODAY!

  • @klor4682 Why us, Hmong not using the National Anthem due to the lack of having a country. It's saddened for us not having a stable country to live and govern our own people.

  • very nice

  • where can i find this place in the map? i am think about going to japan and china

  • two 2nd part reminds me when they chant the qeej songs.... kool.

  • Due2life-- where are you from? just curious! If you're in China let me know. Thinking about visiting ...but, yes "Hmong VajPov" is a bit far reaching there buddy!

  • All should respect each other, be open-minded and be willing to learn from each other... :)

  • i am hmong and would liek the romanized lyrics to this awesome song. i like the chinese sounding of it

  • hey hey no fighting of course we know that youtube has some reliable source in here but we know for sure that pwr2 watever is stupid and probably a little kid running his little mouth so life goes on

  • @Pwr2thepple...lol...funny dude...that's what I thought you had to correct that shit...to make it right...what a joke son...

  • Wow!!! Hmong is a Great Group in China

  • ahhh this bring tears to my eyes! hmong national anthem and our people. sad. i wish we hmong now have the spirit n culture like that again. we need to respect n lknow who we r and where we came from!

  • no matter how many times i listen to it...it always sound so great....awesome..we gotta sing this at the new year...anybody up for it?????pm me

  • @MrPebyoghmoob Stupid idea. How about no.

  • @Pwr2thePple lol...people nowadays are so rash and irrational...its sad that you don't want to sad the song but I'm sure others will..

  • @Pwr2thePple oh and sorry to bug you again but one more thing...reading your channel makes me laugh...you are so FULL of yourself...cocky bastard..you seem to still have the traditional idea that YOU are the only and first Hmong to be educated...wow dude wake up...there's plenty of well educated Hmong folks nowadays...

  • @MrPebyoghmoob Haha, I guess. No one ever said anything about education on these comments. It's funny you try to find any reason to make yourself save face from making such a stupid suggestion. Sorry kid, education is a dime a dozen today. I never said I was the first or the last. Obviously, you lack it.

  • @Pwr2thePple lol..stupid suggestion...don't make me laugh..read it you the one who claimed that those who came to America during the war were all HMONG VANG PAO...don't make me laugh boy...like I said..he was only a leader during the war and some revered him for that...but no I've never heard of anybody claiming their family to be HMONG VANG PAO...you only here it when it comes to Vangs who supported him and those who don't...don't give me bs that everybody here was here because of him...bitch

  • @MrPebyoghmoob Haha, you seem to have the traditional idea that everyone better than you seems to think they are the only educated one. No, sorry kid. It's not being cocky, it's just being truthful. You are the same people who depend on Youtube for news and knowledge (it seems).

  • Yog hais tias peb Hmoob nyob thoob plaws hauv lub ntiajteb no muab txoj nkauj no coj los siv rau Hmoob cov koom txoos uas tseem ceeb, mas yuav zoo rau peb Hmoob heev.Thanks.

  • look at those commies

  • @JYX1991 hey thanks. However for which comments?

  • i dont think VajPov had anything to do with the hmong language or western hmong dialect, other than he himself speaks the western hmong dialect. I speak the western hmong dialect but i dont consider myself "hmong vajpov. just saying. :)

  • @blueberrysmilie1 Hmoob Vaj Pov are those who fought against Plover and his parents (the Communist). If you are in America, obviously your parents claimed to be pro-Vang Pao in one of the Bans in Thailand. Trust me, you didn't come here because one day you dad woke up and felt like going to America. And if you or your parents weren't Hmoob Vaj Pov, why did you guys follow him to the US? Why not go to France or stay in Laos?

  • @Pwr2thePple well sir you are incorrect...just because my grandpa and the Hmong people from his area fought for Vang Pao that doesn't make his family a Hmong Vang Pao...that sir is a STUPID idea...it just simply means Vang Pao was a leader to them...and there NO such clan as Hmong Vang Pao just ask anybody other than yourself...ask anybody what kind of Hmong are you the answer will be green or white here in the US...but NOT Vang Pao...get it straight...

  • @MrPebyoghmoob Who said anything about Vang Pao being a clan? Stop pulling shit out of your ass to save your face.

  • @Pwr2thePple plus the problem with Hmong kids nowadays like you is lack of respect...in here America kids like you have the opportunity to be educated and now you think you're so much smarter than everybody else and likes to talk down to others. learn respect little boy..here you are running your mouth about my ability to research and education when you don't know jack about me...that makes me laugh..its cocky kids like you who comes to my school for medicine study and get checked no by me..

  • @MrPebyoghmoob Please stop. You're making yourself look bad. I don't talk down on anyone, just you because you are funny. I don't know you but I can tell you get your history and research from Youtube and Wikipedia. I never said I was smarter than everybody. Where do you get these stuff from anyways? Let me guess, Youtube?

  • Comment removed

  • @MrPebyoghmoob Let me guess, you g around acting like you have a PhD in Hmong because you spent a few hours watching some videos on Youtube a 12 year old made. So now you're taking the video as a PROOF of your supposed history? Get it STRAIGHT.

  • @Pwr2thePple you don't even know that the majority of the Hmong people here were left behind after the war and had to fend for themselves to survive and were hunted like dogs.if you want to know more look it up..how the fuck you gonna say I lack education? what you got PHD from you channel its obvious you don't got one...as for me I don't have to prove education to you because I prove my intelligence through my words, skills, and abilities not through my self-proclaimed greatness like u

  • @MrPebyoghmoob Self proclaimed? How? Tell me where I said that? You intelligence? LMAO. How contradictive. You words, skills, and abilities (or the lack of) is apparent. Another dumbass comment from a dumbass. NOT ALL Hmong people fought against the communist. IN FACT, many were Communist fighting against other Hmong.

  • @Pwr2thePple I've never heard of "Hmong Vang Pao" in my life. Of course I respect Vang Pao and i am Pro-hmong. My parent only respect him for being a great leader but never have we called ourselve "hmong Vang Pao". We called ourselves hmong dawb. Just bc we respect and follow the words of a father figure dont mean we name ourselves after him, we came to USA for the chance in life he opened for us. EX: its like sayin " I'm an American Obama" lol All Im saying is that it doenst make sence to me :)

  • @blueberrysmilie1 ahhahah... "I'm an American Obama"!!! funny as hell bro

  • @blueberrysmilie1 Ignorant People would say the same thing you said idiot!!!

  • @LadeeSam boo hoo....too bad not everyone names themselves after their leader, we respect them but thats just too much .... =_= ... get over it...

  • this is a great song n yeah it is about how we r hmong

  • this is a grret song n yeah it is about how we r hmong

  • "A nation stays alive when its culture and history are kept alive" -- Persian saying

  • this needs to remember that they are hmong. they are jus bashin at themselves so stop being so stupid. if people hmong shouldnt have a country because of the shit mentioned in here than that means people on earth, watever their nationality should not have a country. Hmong people who makes these kinds of comment needs to get an education and take history so that they know that greed, corruption, etc is not unique to Hmong. also most of the people who have countries took it from some other people.

  • i've just read all of the comments here and it really piss me off. i often hear hmong people sayin bs that hmong people are very bad to their own people and corrupted or watever shit that these ignorant or stupid hmong people come up with. 1st of all every nationality have done the same thing whether it is corruption, greed, or selfishness. they r not so stupid as to talk shit about their people as a whole but the individual that have commited the deed. the hmong people who makes comment like

  • hmong dont need country hmong r too greedy and selfish it is good hmong will never have a country.

  • That's right Peb yog Hmoob ....I love to be Hmoob too.

  • wow is this chinese?

  • @TiaMothaFuckinYang this is in HMONG!!! if you listen carefully you will pick up the words and understand. listen a couple of times.

  • you guys make me proud

  • wow they are really organised compared to hmong elsewhere =/

  • We need to use this song as the National Anthem. Doesn't it sound estatic, well, I mean happy and prideful? I bet it does. We in the states need to cultivate this into our pride and show that We are Hmong. We gotta see this in the near future at main New Years all around the nation. Please adopt this.

  • @MrPloverwi bitch we r not slave ok

if u think that we r slave that is only u that who is slave

    we r not slavery!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    do u understand that

  • me nyuam hmoob thoob qab ntuj yog nej tseem xav hais tias nej yog hmoob nej yuav tsum tsis txhob hnov nej cov lus hmoob kuv pov coob leej ntua tus ua nws twb yog hmoob ib yam tab si nws ho muab luag li lus coj los sib tham .yog li peb tus npau suav puas muaj hnub peb yuav raws cuag?

  • @MrPloverwi dirty man like you mrploverwi, you only dream. tsov tom nyabnploog.

  • I could understand only some of the words they sing. I bet it's gonna be hard to communicate if hmong usa and hmong china talk.

  • THIS IS A NICE SONG FOR OUR HMONG

  • cool never knew that we had a hmong anthem

  • rockin. >;]

  • i predict between 21 centry-23 centry we will have a country in east asia

  • can some1 translate the Chinese part cause i wanna sing this song as my class project about our Hmong people

  • @Due2Life there is no chinese part...i did my best to write it into Hmong western Dialect AKA Hmong VAJPOV.

  • @Due2Life

Tus phooj ywg (thehmonghawj) kuv yog ib tug menyuam Hmoob ceb muag thiab. Kuv kuj muaj lub zaim muag pom li koj xav thiab. Txawm kuv txais tsis tau cov zoo tseem ntsiab lus hauv no los nws muaj cuab peev xwm ua rau kuv lub kua muag ntws poob twj ywm, tsis paub xyov yog vim li cas? Thaum twg menyuam Hmoob mam li caum cuag peb tus npau suav?

  • @Due2Life

The song itself doesn't have Chinese, but the announcer lady does translate the gentleman in Mandarin saying our name is called Hmong. Not sure if you want to include the introduction in your song? :)

  • FYI: Anyone who says Hmong don't deserve a country, because of greed, incompetence, corruption, etc. has a right to say that. But having no country doesn't mean you can't ethnic pride. Our enemies have divided and conquered us for centuries, because we failed to unite. To this day, one group or another (including Hmong Americans) claim to be the legitimate Hmong/Mong/Ha-Mung (as Clint Eastwood would say). But we are all one people! Get that through your head,,, No unity? No country! Easy'nuff.

  • @Due2Life niamtxiv has this song with the hmong amercan translation. and theire is no chinese in this song. its all about our hmong people in our language. sorry for misspellings

  • This is interesting!

  • yes we do have a national anthem and we must use it everywhere in the world.

  • Just follow the lyrics as they sing to it, anyone who knows and could read Hmong could understand the song, the Hmong anthem. The song is very nice, and I didn't know until now that peb Hmoob muaj ib qho nkauj Hmoob anthem ua yog peb Hmoob li tug, zoo heev.=)

  • i think we don't need to learn this song because we don't have a country 2 call our country

if we learn that song 4 wats

  • @oddalei then where do we going to sing

  • @lucky123458 sing to yourself you dumb fuck, don't go singing on the streets. ofcourse if you sang any song on the street people will think you're dumb, idiot! maybe you don't love your own kind cause you're too busy being white-washed but there are some hmong people who actually cares for the hmong people alright, you dip shit! lol

  • @oddalei

yup i agree wit u I care about my hmong as long as you are from the chiyou hmong tree you you my people

  • Even without an ethnic-specific country, the Hmong identity still survived 5000 years.

  • peb yov muaj teb chaw xwb

  • i kinda understand them.

    cuz they are hmong chinese.

so they sound like chinese, but when you listen

very closely =, they sound like hmong.

  • that.... lol

  • what?! we have a national anthem?!!! didn't know that.....

  • This song is in Moob Leeg. The translator translated in White Hmong. Are Hmong Dawb gonna sing it in Moob Leeg? Or is it going to be like Viang Chaan became Vias Cas? Captain Lao became Lauj Kiab Toom? A lot of Lao words have became Lao-White. So the real Lao don't understand it any more. Hahahahahaha....

  • How do we learn that song when they speak hmong and chinese together in the song

n u guy so write the lyric n hmong then we can learn that

  • puas yog suav li swb ma lod?

  • wow, this is so cool. i want to learn it so much. i'm so into the hmong history and culture.

  • @Freshtownz i hope so..ehehe..when i look at this..and show it to my chinese friend..they said that the writing int he background is chinese but they dont understand what these ppl. are talking about..it's like the lyrics are not completely chinese..nor not completely hmong..it's like a mixture and plus..the clothing were unfamiliar to chinese..ehehehe.i guess these hmong folks sort of blend into the mainstream culture of china..

  • Seriously...I think I heard this anthem in one of them old chinese movies way back when and never knew it was an original Hmong anthem!!! This is so awesome!

  • lolz...i thinks me too..ahah

  • This is great anthem for hmong one day Hmong dream might come truth. don't give up keep trying harder.

  • wow our NATIONAL ANTHEM sound cool as hell

  • Lmao, This video is ridiculous. :P

  • hmong can never have a country, their too greedy for power and money, plus look at all of them killing each other here in the u.s.a lol

  • Yeah..what u said..is true...its not just in present time in USA...Its been long time ago...When we still in our land...but..we kill our own king..that's why..we have no more land to stay...Hmong had killed each other since the time around 1600...and got kicked out of china and then ran to Laos and still kill each ther in Laos too...so the laotians and vietnameese just stay and shoot Hmong ..for "free shots"..and Hmong still killing each other in the USA right now in present time..

  • But..don't worry guys...all the trators and bad guys...will start dying(die) from now on..They have to go to hell to pay for what they have done to their on Hmong people....its start this year...2009 already...One advice..u like or not like...just try to be a good person..If..u want to be one of the long living...person..and u might have a chance to see our own "Land" once again....so..good lucks..for all the good Hmong people...Trust or not..U think about it..

  • I understand Hmong china try to do. Hmong does not know how to create "The House Of Chamber" each of group miao come present themselves. Very MiaoHmong people should followed the majority to approve. not grassroots polities

  • i hmong too

  • i love this video...I AM HMONG!

  • Hmong in the USA need to learned a lot from hmong china because we forgot whose we are. Miao/hmong do have country. where you live that is your country.

  • Wow I never thought about it that way, but your so right!

  • lol.... I think sometimes Communist is good for the Hmong.... and look at us in USA... we are too free no respect to each other.we losing everything here...soon we have to borrow from our Hmong/Miao in China..

  • can anyone be so kind to translate this song

  • hell nah america ish our home.. shit.. better be lucky yah here.. cos if not yah could go back.. chill out man yah actin like yah own china.. hmong people dnt even have a nation y because of jealoussies.. one always wanna have a higher rank frm another.. friend cheatin wid others friends wife... dats wat happen when u dont respect da name HMONG..

  • idk bout yall, but for me, i think the hmong-chinese are so interesting...

  • i never felt prouder to be hmong...thank you

  • hello, thanks for the video, I want to know what the meaning of the Hmong national anthem here??? songs very beautiful.

  • Very interesting.

  • first of all, Hmong is part of the recognized Miao Nationality of China. They have their own anthem and autonomous regions in China. First of all, Hmong came from China and are officially China's fifth largest ethnic group.

  • Key word "nationality of China" and plus it doesnt matter if we hmongs are from China initally they chinese own China hence the country called China not a country called after us Hmongs...untill we are in a country of our own and have our own type of "system" we Do Not Have a Country To Have A "National Anthem".."autonomous region" that is not a country...it maybe a populated area for us Hmongs to live but did we secede from china and make this region ours No So dont say it like we own this area

  • Btw, every ethnic groups in China are known as Chinese. Hence, the word American. Our origin and our root came from China. This is our people pride. Whether you dislike it or not, China will always be our home.

  • no you're wrong, we do have a nation, a country to call home: everywhere we live it's our home just like everyone else in the world scatter all over...there is no place on earth that you can not live or call home.

  • No, hmong doesnt need a country to have a national anthem. It is called a national anthem because we all hmong (miao) united under one song that represent all of us. so this is the song that united us together even though we dont have a country but we are a proud people.

  • @Tor7men7ted2 those old people thy no thing than us

    G.V.P is a fatass

  • @SuperOMGPPL Dont know what you talking about. Seems like you and MrPloverwi had something going on so dont pull me into your thing. This video is and was never about GVP or about slavery. This video is about our national anthem song. So anything about GVP please go find his video and leave his comment there. thanks peace out

  • @Tor7men7ted2 OMG I THOUGHT THAT IDIOT WAS GOING TO BRING UP MRPLOVERWI ISSUES IN HERE.... SO RELIEF HE DIDN'NT ... HAHA seriously i kind of laugh when i saw you mention mrploverwi .. LOL

  • @infantry1560 hahahaha yeah I have no idea why that idiot superomgppl just reply me like that. anyway I have confronted mrploverwi a long time ago and had issued with him a little bit. So now I try to avoid him at any cost cause there is no point and waste of time talking to him. I just watch his video and leave no comments.

  • @Tor7men7ted2

Hey, maybe it's just me... but he sounds like he's Viet or Lao pretending to be Hmong. Sometimes, he slips and from his response you can tell he's not Hmong. Just a poser. A communist propaganda outlet for the People's Republic of whatever country he's trying to hoot for and their censorship bureau. Consider that? Anyway, you're right. No point arguing with him. He has every right to broadcast his stuff. His videos, minus his propaganda, is sometimes educational.

  • @jephboy If you want to know mrploverwi's voice sounds like check out his video "Hluas Nkauj Hmoob Dub (Black Hmong) From Vietnam ". There are more videos of him talking too. However, his videos are intresting tho.

  • @Tor7men7ted2

I've watched plenty of his videos. Political agendas aside, it is educational, but you have to seriously turn on your thinking cap to filter out the political messages. BTW, I read you wrong... at first, I thought you said "Hluas Nkauj Hmoob Khej Dub". :) And I was like.. huh?

  • @Tor7men7ted2 Well said!

  • Vim li cas peb yuav hais peb suab lus,

Vim li cas peb yuav hnav peb zam tsoos?

Tsis vim tsav niaj tus dab tsi,

  • Thanks for the lyrics, niamtxiv. I can't understand these Hmong Chicoms...

  • Chicom? Why do you have to insult our Hmong by saying they are Chicom? They are Chinese Nationals and are part of China Socialist Communist Country. Please do not let governmental interests and political party as a tool to dislike people of that particular country. .

  • I never said I disliked Hmong Suav. I just called them Chicoms because that's what they are... They are Hmoob siav, we are Hmong Nyoos and will always be. I dont hate them.

  • The terms, Hmoob Siav and Hmoob Nyoos were used during Qing Dynasty. Those terms are no longer used. The terms, Hmoob Tsiab and Hmoob Laug were used during the Vietnam War. Those terms are no longer used.

  • Vim li cas peb yuav kawm peb ntaub ntawv,
