Johnny, did you ever fish those two lakes up on the trail by base camp? the ones in the granite basin ?i seee a pic of them in your video. When i hiked the trail there were several trout heads on the shore from some rather big rainbows ( some one had cleaned the fish there) I didnt have any fishing gear with me , but I've always wondered just how big the fish are in those two lakes.
@130starfish No, I did not try to fish on those 2 lakes. I did not bring my fly fishing gear with me on our way Mt. Whitney summit. I only fish the stream below the portal. Cheers!
