Another fine piece of work, pal! I'm very fond of Green Lantern. Hal is my particular fave. He is the GL I grew up with, but I like Alan, John and many of the GL Corps as well. Kyle had to grow on me but then I was PO-ed over the way Hal was dealt with in the Paralax series of stories. Silly as it may sound, I took it personally. I'd love to see a GL animated series. There's a rich tapestry of background to draw from for really good stories.

4-John Stewart the African American.

Exactly, There are 7200, glad you agree. Mexican or half Mexican it doesn't make a differnce to me, he's still cool, actually DC labels Kyle as "Mexican American" (GL vol. 3, #150). In the miniseries Kingdom Come Jade becomes the 6th GL of Earth(GL v.2 #107-112), so whether you personally count her or not, DC counts her so I'll take their word over your opinion. She even Assists the JLA, as GL but refuses to become a member (JLA #27). I also like Hal but Point is HE IS NOT the only GL.

hey i only have Green Lantern Secret Origin Part 2 and 3 issues #30 and 31 and it doesn't say WHY the power rings didn't affect yellow objects. does it say in any other issues? also i know that hal jordan overcomes that fact, does the rest of the green lantern corps do the same?? thanks and nice post

The reason members of the Green Lantern Corps. were ineffective against the color yellow is because the parasite known as Paralax (a parasite of pure yellow energy, yellow being the color of fear in the psionic spectrum) was trapped inside the battery on Oa millennia ago . Only Green Lanterns who can see fear behind it and confront it can overpower yellow. Check it out on Wiki for a pretty in depth explanation. Hope I helped
