@connie3436 hello! I used two bath, two hand towels and two wash cloths. Two sided tape works great, however I have used hot glue on some items, just have to be careful not to get it on the towels. Good Luck on your project!
@ephinae15 hello, you can insert items into the ribbon around the tiers of use double sided tape to help items to stay in place. Good luck on your project, I'm sure it will be outstanding
Thanks! Yes, I watched the one you are referring to. (I really liked the swirly towels he used) Yours is WAY prettier! I practiced a little bit tonight and I think I can make it work and maybe after I add some decorations mine will look good too. :)
@teresa6565 I used two bath towels, two hand towels and two fingertip towels. I watched a youtube video on how to make them and put my own spin on the decorations. watch "Wedding Cakes : How to Make Towel Cake" he gives a clear demo on this, good luck
@mcnattmc You should look into how to do a diaper cake if you are going to a baby shower. I do these and do the swirled look instead of the individually rolled up diapers stacked. Geez, it can get sort of expensive though once you decorate it with ribbon and toys and stuff.
I'm working on a towel cake for a bridal shower now. Found the cutest bride & groom rubber duck set to go on top!
