wow Like most here I stumbled on this while looking for this song by another artist. Hands down this artist captured the words of the song and made you feel the emotions. Keep 'em coming. I'm tired of the new stuff they put on the radios and so I am creating my own library of songs to listen to all day long Thanks for posting
WOW! Never heard of her. Beautiful sultry voice. I've always loved this song and have it by just about everyone who sang it. I"m going to check itunes for this version. Oh where, Oh where, are all the good singers today.
Wow!!, what a voice. Never heard of her? Glad I also stumbled on this singer. Why
does these old songs and singers sound so pure, so clean? You can almost measure their morals and values just by the tenderness of this song. The big band era wow. Thank you for posting this wonderful song.
@ZapMeBaby Another reason that these singers sound clean and pure is because the records are natural and untainted by manufactured computer alterations as almost all modern "music" is. In addition, the singers did not employ an obnoxious attitude when singing, they simply sang honestly and musically.
EXCELLENT! What a voice! I found this by accident but am thoroughly enjoying every moment. .Do you have any more of her to post? Shes incredible! Thank you so much for posting this song.
I love this recording. She does an excellent job, and the arrangement fits her voice perfectly. I like the last phrase and ending- sounds just like the onset of dreams with flutes, french horn, and the harp. Class recording and a great singer.
I stumbled across this singer by accident on Youtube by accident a couple of nights ago. What an incredible voice!!! Why isn't she better known? She's right up there with Doris Day, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, and Patti Page. Thank you for posting.
This is REAL music.

Check Ms. Raney's photo on last.fm. She looks like the hot spy on Chuck.
