he's actually really creative, because i've been to games and seen him in the warm up line do some craaaaaaazy shit. but the problem is he looks funny doing it. he's so bulky that it looks rigid and unpleasant. it's not eye candy. you can do incredible things in the dunk contest but if it doesn't look good you aren't gonna win it. i hope he can show the fans something next year though. he'll raise the bar as far as just "getting up" goes

i'm saying that if he were to do more than just jump off of 1 foot (maybe jump off two) he would look that way only because he's so big. it's the same reason Dwight doesn't look good doing a windmill. Jumping off of 1 works good for Lebron, but to win the dunk contest you need to be more than one dimensional with your dunks. there's only so much you can do off of 1, as we see in his HS dunk contest. those are the only dunks he does. i'm not saying he's not an insane dunker, just a bad DC dunker

LeBron has the best hops by far, but as far as variety and different types of dunks he's nowhere near the top. He'll lose the Dunk contest next year unless they let the fans choose the winner or they give it to him because of his name. I think he hasn't been in one as of yet because he know he's not that great of a dunker and he doesn't want to lose and have that known in front of all those people. We will see though if he holds to what he said at this year's dunk competition.
