I'm from one of the southern villages and I used to build a big tent with a shade wide abough for 8 people in the beach. there is a special technique. The tent is durable, pretty made of natural materials, can withstand storms and all summer and I didn't have to carry along with me an umbrella and install the umbrealla everyday at the beach!
as for the store made of wood and plants along of the road: it shows hwo practical, flexible, resourceful and ecological we are. They are seasonal stores that can be put down easily at the end of the season in September.

No the building in Saranda are fine, and they will not fall because they are built according to law. The roads are built according to European standards. The riviera road is the same width as the roads in Capri in Italy or along the costa Amalfina. The terrain is different from Greece. By the way I'm Christian Orthodox, but that doesn't mean that I'm Hellenic or that my church is hellenic. The Albanian Orthodox church is an independent, separate church, autocephalous. But that shows you don't anything about the structure of the orthodox church.

lol, you probably didn't know where to go or who to stay with. This is what we call infrastructure and service problems with tourists. It's not that there isn't anything. There is no info for foreigners. Locals know the good places.
