theres only one prime thing burial does which is include recorded natrual soundscapes to fill his tracks with a real kind of feel, otherwise its just another deep dark london feelin kinda track which is beautiful btw, stop commenting people its just too painful to read the same bickering day in day out
@Wipperevipp Kryptic Minds was in Sweden? Damn, i wish i had been there. Anyway, it confused me as well, because the duo previously released tracks under the name Kryptic Minds & Leon Switch, but they now call themselves just Kryptic Minds.
this is so fuckin good. just cuz someones using a similair sound doesnt mean anythings wrong with it! thats most of music does! take this song for itsself - its incredibly deep. that intro gets me high
Fucking gigantic! I would say Burial inspired rather than ripoff - Burial would have a lot more depth and space and less structure. Enough about Burial i'm obsessed with this tune!
KM are the best producers out there atm in my opinion. maybe not everyone will enjoi the stuff.. but who else produces as much music as these guys? about 60% of their live sets consists of tunes purely made for the night.. so many unheard releases. is alot!! so at least someone can appreciate the work efforts...
released in 1 week digitally ..and in 2 weeks on limited edition black & white marbled vinyl. you can pre-order it now from a few shops like redeye and kaizen : )
huh... i think KM are at point where they don't consciously say yeah im gonna make this sound like burial, there are other tune KM tunes out there with similiar drum patterns they're just not that well known.. KM said before Loefah guided them towards 140 patterns, they were experimenting with stuff with minimal techno sounds, drum patterns from 90 all the way to 130 and beyond. And dont forget all their dnb beforehand
@WeirdAndGeeky Km = kryptic minds (at the time solo d&b hardstep producer) & leon switch (same). At the end they ended up doing up tracks forced so they emerged to just kryptic minds. Check 'more like you'. The unknown error (apex + 1) remix is fucking sick aswell.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@Venuqe Apparently their previous 'style' didn't work (check any other 'dubstep' track they've made) so now they fail miserably at emulating Burial. Structure, atmosphere, even down to the drum technique and arrangement... reeks of sad, sad imitation.
@ripripstabstab A lot of the samples they used were from the original lung track which had that chilled out feel so it's no surprise to me that they did a remix on a similar kind of tip (high pitched voices etc..). Im not denying the fact that there may well be some Burial influence but it's a far cry from a 'sad, sad imitation'. Each to their own but I don't think this is a rip at all. Another quality KM remix!
@ripripstabstab their style works just fine for them. they did a remix that totally compliments the original..which is what a remix is supposed to do....
@ripripstabstab Its a lung remix you absolute tool, go and listen to the original and rant on about Lung 'ripping off burial' dont bring it to KM. Spud.
