@maganandclint We all really appreciate all of the firefighters and police officers who helped us get off that bus. If you could let him and all the rest know that we really appreciated it and they saved our lives i would be so grateful.
My grandparents live right up the road and heard every thing happen and went up there. Every one was praying that everyone would be ok. The bus is at the local junk yard and people still slow down to look at it when they go by. It was also the talk of the local school for days.
I was on that bus, and I am so grateful to every firefighter, paramedic, police officer, and any of the others bringing us all to safety. It was a miracle that there was not worse damage, and that the bus did not flip over.
My husband worked this wreck. He is a firefighter on Pinehurst fire dept. He was helping many of you off the bus. He was holding the ladder that many of you came down on. He said it could have been worse. I also know that Pinehurst is thinking about all of you and hopes all of you are doing ok now. So glad no one was killed. God was truly looking over all of you involved.
Just curious to anyone on the bus... how did they get you out? I left before they got you out. The bus looked like it would tip from anyones movement.
i was on the bus- just wanted to say thank you to every single person who helped out. we couldn't have crashed in a better place to get taken care of. you guys kept all of us strong, and we love you.
No problem. I mean the accident happened right in front of me and my friend. (200 feet) the only thing to do was help. Im glad they are doing alright as this was the scariest thing I have ever seen.
The people in the front of the bus said there was an accident up ahead that the bus driver was slowing down for when another vehicle swerved into his lane. He swerved to avoid an even worse collision and went up the embankment. We are very lucky. My daughter was one of the ones who was taken to the hospital.
I also thank you, BasementBuMFights....for helping. My mom and stepfather are doing ok. Thank you again; its nice to know that there are still compassionate people like you in the world.
I saw this accident happen. I helped out the red suv couple. (We got the driver out and paramedics got the passanger) Very scary accident. Thank god no one was seriously hurt.
