This is one of their weaker albums, when they ditched the dark metal imagery and aggressive in-your-face sonic assault of their previous music and became the self-parodying glam cliche of the 80s. This song always pissed me off. It was as if they weren't even trying with this one. They even admitted as much in the Dirt. This is the album where they phoned it in and it definitely show here. Gone are the hooks and the lean attack of the first two albums.

This is one of their weaker albums, when they ditched the dark metal imagery and aggressive in-your-face sonic assault of their previous music and became the self-parodying glam cliche of the 80s. This song always pissed me off. It was as if they weren't even trying with this one. They even admitted as much in the Dirt. This is the album where they phoned it in and it definitely show here. Gone are the hooks and the lean attack of the first two albums.

I guess when I listen to this song I miss the times, but the good thing is that the times were recorded like this song, but the times are gone. There is serious need for some more originators in the future or there won't be anybody to replace the legends! To me there won't ever be anything like the good old 80's ever again.

I'm reading through The Dirt right now, and I've been listening to all the Motley Crue albums depending on where I am in the book, I would have to agree with Vince, this album is kinda terrible besides Home Sweet Home. OMG. City Boy Blues was bad for any band standards lol.
