1. GoPro I think recommend the lame plastic internal filter.
2. My mate got the new GoPro Hero2 ... still balls in low light...if your going clubbing leave it at home. Many moments missed in Croatia with millions of hot British chicks.
3. Go to Croatia.
4. You can chuck a UV filter on this to remove the under water aberration.
@snappakingie Yeah water gets in but Physics tells us this is not an issue as snells law is still going to work OK where there are three materials and n1=n3.

I was looking for this exact tutorial. Thanks for posting. Question on the 52mm hood. Is there a specific size needed to fit the GoPro case? I know the outer part is 52mm but what about the inner part that goes around the GoPro lens? the black piece with the 6 screws. Or do they only come in one size.
Check out my Judge Ridge Climb video and you'll see why I need such a filter on my lens.
The problem with fitting it to the outside of the 'black piece with the 6 screws' would be the impact of this on the wide angle view. By using a larger diameter we are able to decrease the clipping in the corners of the lens.
The size i have used is the maximum that can be used without major augment to the case. It looks pretty pimp too!
Yeah no advert. Got it all from the store you mentioned.
A couple of notes further on it:
* For snowboarding in low light probably better without it. Due to the small aperture of the GoPro. For example in the trees in Japan when it was puking this really was too dark to use it. So you just unscrew it. That said in deep pow the GoPro gets coated every turn. No matter if you have the attachment or not.
Very Aussie accent.........Aussie, Ausssie, oi, oi, oi!!
Just bought my own Hero 2 today for my RC heli flying. Nice stuff mate!!!

You got the lens hood and filter from digital camera warehouse right?
(Not an ad, just want to use exactly what you did)
