  • i remember playing this game, i loved it, i should play it again... its on the shelf lol.

  • Are you using dosbox?

  • OMG I REMEMBER THIS GAME! So badass!

  • Music would've been better if it were eery and creepy.

  • @Zeanu Shut your mouth, that's music by Dan Gardopée/Basehead, legendary tracker and a member of the even MORE legendary audio group Straylight Productions! Learn some reverence, man!

  • @pHr33kAcHu Don't call me man, and I've lived long enough to read about the previews for this game in magazines. Just because you are a fanboy doesn't mean it is necessarily fitting. Learn some mutual respect.

  • @Zeanu This was one of my first comptuter games, bro. And as far as I'm concerned, I'll call you any fucking thing I want to. Peace. ^_^

  • @pHr33kAcHu I'm a woman, you incredibly rude and obnoxious person... up to this point I was up for just discussing video game music with you but forget it now. Not like you care. Happy trails.

  • @Zeanu Well that explains why you hate this music, those kitchen computers don't have very good speakers.

  • @pHr33kAcHu *cough* No one said anything about not liking it - merely that it did not fit the scope and environment well. It's a gimmick from the early 90's.

  • @Zeanu It actually fits very well, it's that sort of "we're going on an action movie mission" kind of techno. No one else complained about the music, you just wish it was composed by Tori Amos live at the Cheesecake Factory and that instead of it being in a violent computer game it was in a Wes Anderson film.

  • @pHr33kAcHu Don't know who you think you're talking to but I'm questioning your legitimacy. I am most likely old enough to be your mom. Opinions differ but as I said, I'm in the industry. This is fine if I were playing a B-rated game but Crusader's actually got style and a good sense of atmosphere and progression - certain areas would've been better accompanied with a drone or low ambient suspense track to reach a player on deeper layers.

  • @Zeanu @Zeanu Well, you're not my mom and even though you may be in the industry (yeah right, just like all the other Youtube commenters who want to "win" arguments) you weren't on this team and this team thought this music would work just the way it is and low and behold the vocal majority agrees with their artistic expression. For an "arteest" you sure do like to squelch people's artistic expression. As far as my legitimacy goes, I legitimately like the way the track goes with this level.

  • @pHr33kAcHu I'm noy saying I am, was or would have want to been in the team... I am not squelching anything. I am speaking from a designer's perspective. I like how you're reflecting and that should say enough on your end so I'll just drop this. As I said way earlier... it doesn't matter what your PERSONAL taste is, no one can change that. Good day now.

  • @Zeanu ". As I said way earlier... it doesn't matter what your PERSONAL taste is, no one can change that." So why the hell are you bitching at this video? If you don't like the way the music fits, that's your personal taste and you should keep it that way if you don't like arguments like this.

  • @pHr33kAcHu Why? Because I can share a civilized opinion and I like to keep my freedom of speech. You and I are "bitching" as much as the other guy or anyone else. Got anything else to say? I don't like to leave a discussion unfinished.

  • looks like fallout 2

  • Awesome free game

  • @DanielVonRommel Not.... free?

  • @JackOFBlades111 Welcome to the internet.

  • @DanielVonRommel Well, it's better to get it from GOG, not some shitty ROM, GOG pre-configures it so you don't have to mess around with it in DOSBOX.

  • @JackOFBlades111 Yep, I agree with that. That's free, too.

  • The music is freakin amazing. Totally reminds me of the first Deus Ex.

  • This is one of my all time favourite games ever, I've played a lot of the new games and yes they're very good but this game makes them look like they're in the stone age. Great gameplay, the movies were a nice touch and the music by Andrew Sega is awesome and well beyond it's time too (it was made in 1995). The PC version is the best although the modern PC's without DOS are incapable of running it which is crap.

  • @jpwolf1701

I just got mail that Crusader: No Remorse will come to gog.com soon (for $5.99).

  • @jounihat Thanks for the great link GOG.com is awesome and the games work perfectly. Crusader: No Remorse is one of the forthcoming games, absolutely fantastic :)

  • @jpwolf1701

No prob. I really wanted to get Crusader when I was a child, but I didn't have enough money for it. So now when I got email about the re-release from gog.com, I immediately came to YouTube to check the videos :)

  • Did I just hear the Wilhelm Scream?

  • This game has horrible controls.

  • @TonkarzOfSolSystem No man... Once you got the hang of it, it was pure strategy. Two rolls forward, one roll sideways, shoot, roll, turn left, shoot, forward, open door... Stuff like that. This game got me in robot mode. Pure calculated killer... lol

  • @TonkarzOfSolSystem Come to think of it. I rolled through half the game. It was a good technique to calculate your movement. Now imagine playing this game with some Limp Bizkit music. Rollin' Rollin' Rollin' Yeah... lol

  • reminds me of shadowrun on snes.

  • I remember this on the Sega Saturn... made me proud to be a Saturn owner, a damn good game.

  • I still remember the cheat code :) jassica16 F10

  • this is just another game i never got to play as a kid. my computer wouldnt install it

  • God I miss this and no regret so much!

  • Ultima meets Fallout :)

  • I've uploaded several songs from the Crusader-series to The DOS Spirit Retro Radio. Just google it and you'll find (at the dos spirit site, click retro radio icon).

  • Nice game. Payed 99$ for it when it came out. I give it an 8.5/10. There were some things i didn't like about it like not being able to reconfigure your keys. i wish they would come out with an FPS version of this game. BTW loved the synthesized music in this game. Long live classic gaming!

  • I totally loved this game! I have the original CD version of it but it does not works anymore on Win XP. Someone could give me some hint to make taht CD avavilable or to download some compatible stuff such as rom emulator? Thank you for posting.

  • @ar7slu7 Goggle DOSBox.

  • @blarson12 Ok thank you

  • @ar7slu7

Yep DOSBox is a great program I use it to play classics like X-COM, Master of Magic, Syndicate etc. on Windows XP. They work great.

I've never played Crusader before but I think I'll try it soon, I just got it installed and working in DOSBox.

  • @ar7slu7 DOSBox is your friend 6 million downloaders of DOSBox cannot be wrong!

  • One of the best games made

  • love love this game..This must come to Xbox 360 arcade!!!..I bought is for my Saturn it`s a awesome game!!Thanks for this video!!

  • Amazing. I have never actually heard Crusader. It never seemmed to like my soundcard.

  • yeah, you showed them!

  • yes, original game 100%, sounds& music too... i like the soundtrack myself as well :)

  • hey, wow. Is this the original soundtrack from the game?! Because I have this XM or MOD file on my disc, and just wanted to know this :) thanks
