If your manager is from India, and you are not indian, then you have no chance of getting a promotion inside Microsoft. They screw people from other nationalities and make them look bad, to make their fellow countrymen from India look better. 75% of MS are Indians. Good people are pushed out to other companies. That is why the products suck, just the junk remains inside and the good ones go to Apple, Google, Amazon and others.
