Im not from the UK or America. i liked both version but the UK version was better. It flowed a lot more smoothly and kept me captivated the entire time. The US version tended to be a little bit slower and not as dramatic. Both were good but the original was definitely the best in my opinion (and everyone I know agrees). i think the UK version was a lot more realistic because they didn't used established actors and had open casting calls for real students.

I watched the US series first (american) then watched the british series and have come to the conclusion the US was shit compared to it. @hottie123631 no no, you've got it wrong broski, UK version tells a story far better, better back stories for each character and they get much farther in depth with each character AND the relationships between the characters. and it doesn't hurt that they are able to get away with more on UK television, it gives the show even more depth.

I have always been a fan of the original (UK) version, I didn't really expect much from the US version, but i have to admit I was quite suprised, I actually thought it was done very well. I think I would still prefer the original, but remake was still good....so anbody thats bummed out cause they cancelled the US version and you havent seen the original uk version...WATCH IT!!!

1. its the original
2. the acting is much more profetional
3. it has ACTUAL nudity, not almost nudity like the US version
4. it has swearing (not cencored at all)
5. it's so much more realistic

7. it's had 5 seasons and is curently filming its 6th

funny thing is, the executive producer of the UK version was also the executive producer of the US one... so uhh, yea... everyone saying "WHY DIDN'T THEY MAKE IT THEIR OWN!" it was actually the original skins (UK) producer who decided to keep the plot similar.. SO EVERYONE CHILL THE HELL OUT!!!

Skins US fucked the argument of the original skins and the charachters were not believable. Also, they are not nearly as attractive as the ones on the original version.
Skins UK rules, has a special place in my heart.

Like this Tony, he dind`t acted as much as a arrogant genius bastard as he did as a drooling average boy because maxxie was replaced by the lesbian who didnt really had a motivation for anything. Any way, there is to much inconsistency... the series was bad. in my opinion. The music was cool just like te original version, a much better version.

@DaSOT21 I gave SKINS USA a shot darling.And all I saw: Terrible actors.(They're not even attractive.)Bad scripts.Even the scenarios are horrible!!!& the story line is just like the UK's but with some twists & made in a really bad way.For fucks sakes the main characters are named the same,lol.Skins Uk made me feel things,i died to watch the next episode!Skins US did nothing to my soul,so as you see I stand by on what I said.And I'm not british & I'm a girl.Don't talk before knowing the facts :D

I watched the US series first (american) then watched the british series and have come to the conclusion the US was shit compared to it. I think Tea is sexy, but everything about Skins UK was better- its fucking raw which is what makes it better then our pussy censored american crap. I hope UK makes a skins movie because let's be real; series 1 and 2 characters of skins were the best and everyone would love to see them in action again.
