This is actually a cover of the Detroit spinners song "it's a shame" which was co-written by Stevie wonder. Reggae is far from exempt with regards to covering pop songs, much like modern music covering original reggae songs today. if the people performing the covers do it justice and give people aural pleasure then there is nothing wrong with that. this cover by alton is awesome.
