@iruintheworld yes in ASIA thy do that but how they dis in the movie. it was over exaggerated... It's not illegal to punish students if they do something wrong.. But hitting and kicking like that no they not suppose to or they get fired and stuff.

@iruintheworld Yes, in Korea the teachers have a right to punish the kids like that. America looks at it as kind of a form of abuse, but to Korea it's not. Just a form of punishment.

But on the one part where the teacher hits the kid upside the head with the board eraser a few times and kicks the kid, I don't think he was allowed to do that... ._.

you know what...i saw this movie and its such a wonderful movie you'll gonna cry if you see this movie ...i was crying and crying in the middle part until the end...coz i see so much pity on the boy you better watch this movie coz of all the korean movies i have watched this is the most greatest and most heartwarming especially to those below 14 kids they could really relate the story and its great!!!!!!!
