Of course it's a shitty Garland. The computer doesn't play certain characters properly. The randomization of AI attitudes doesn't help with matchups like this either.

This fight is even a perfect example of that: the Big Guy never followed up on any of his combos that actually hit, he almost never avoided any of Sephiroth's attacks, and he waited several seconds before attacking on multiple occasions.

And he ran AWAY from the EX boost items!

well, sephiroth's super attack is actually a really awesome form of supernova, just without the pulling of a giant comet into the sun to destroy everything, in this one, he just uses a super strong draw slash to destroy everything including hittin the sun causing it to supernova which then the enemy gets owned by, yup, ahhh, the all amazing sephiroth, my favorite for great and very argumentative reason.

O_O why would he need the black materia to summon a meteor if he can use supernova.

Because Supernova's a limit break, whilst the Black Materia is just an attack he can fire off at will.

I was actually referring to FFVII for the first PlayStation. He can use supernova to destroy everything yet he still needs the black materia XD

Cloud (Favorite character. But i've heard that dodge and attack when there's an opening is how he fights. boring)

Sephy (i love his sword xD )

Tidus (Cool character. Fast and i like his skills

Firionel (IDK he just looks fun :S)

You'de be surprised just how awesome Cecil is in this game. Of all the characters, I'd say he has the most variety in his attacks, and he's one of the best at linking together BP attacks.

He also has the highest possible damage output of any of the heroes, it seems. As far as basic attacks, anyway.

Actually Cloud has the highest strength (Therefore damage output) of any of the heroes. He's they're big n' slow character. Cecil is all mix-up game on occasion. I could continue to go on with the character playability sheets (I'm a fighting game guru. Love RPGs as it so happens). But I think you catch my drift. Also, anyone who plays this game will also agree that Golbez is officially one of the top 5 villains of the FF series, right up there with Kefka and Sephiroth...
