Installation:

1. Go to your Crysis game folder -> Electronic Arts -> Crytek -> Crysis -> Game.

Mate I have to say this and your other maps are great!!! I just finished The resort and I'm downloading Treaure. I loved resort and cold mountain. Funny thing before I finished cold m. I got to the top of the highest mountain (but couldn't cross) and I could see the whole valley. Great maps,

I had some problems in resort (couldn't find the cave on the forrest, or holes I kept fallling into hehe) but great maps, many thanks for developing them.

You can find a few hundread custom maps on crymod.com. But bigger maps are rare, becasue you need to know how to use the crysis editor and it needs a lot of time to create a good looking, playable map.

You need to get your nanosuit repaired. After the first movie, when you are told to diable the power supply, go straight to your right. After a while you will fight against some hostiles, one of them has got a suit. When he's dead, go to his body and take the nanosuit. It's hard to miss this hostiles if you're not sneak by the outlines.

Please reply skm, I think this map ais great and cool graphics and landscape but I wanna know how you survive the radiation in story mode!!? You know after you killed the scientists, after a while the screen starts shaking and you need to go to a cave, and I wondwer which cave!? Where is it located

Hi, many thanks for your compliments. =) Yeah, you need to enter a cave. The cave is right at the beginning of the little forest. When you enter the forest you can see an old damaged house with a bonfire in front of it. Behind the house is a cave, enter it and a cutscene will start. Maybe you have to go a few steps back (south in the minimap), because you might be somewhere in the middle of the forest.

It´s not a bug, it´s a feature! No seriously, this shouldn´t happen. Normally they just attack while you´re in the water. Maybe you can load an older savegame?

I worked around three months on this project. But i was also busy with school and other stuff, so it was not a fulltime job.

I haven´t rebuilt real existing areas,but I got some inspiration from Yosemite Valley in America and a book from Tad Williams.

Anyway many thanks for your compliment =).

Maybe i´ll work on more projects later after the release of Crysis 2 with the new Cryengine.

I just finished this map, and i have to say, its the best single player creation i have ever played (user created of course)

The radiation part was the best, but i dont had any objectives on my map and descriptions.

It scared the shit out of me.

I liked the double agent music, i started playing that game few days ago.

Extremely good work on this map skm, although the dialogue was a bit sketchy at times, and there were a few grammatical errors. And there was one bit so far that scared the shit out of me...

I'm running this with Eazy E's Crysis Config, and it looks amaziing. Good job.

You can play the map inside crysis or you open it inside the editor. Both works.

If you just want to flythrough and check out the landscape, i recommend you to download the "landscape-version" of the map without enemies or story.

but i try to add a custom flowgraph (for depth of field) in the editor, and when i try to save it says "memory allocation for xxxxxx bytes failed"and it doesn't save :(

have you activated the option: file - export to engine?

you need a computer with lots of ram. a 64bit os is also helpful, because the editor crashes very often in 32bit mode and bigger maps.

the sound was disabled by youtube, because of copyright agreements. The music was from lord of the rings and i hadn´t permission of WMG to use this song.

you can. download the landscape version of the map and open it in the crysis editor. in the editor you can change the time of day by opening and editing the settings in the time of day options.

you must play the map with crysis, not with warhead.

open the console (with ^) and type in:

con_restricted 0 and map TheResort.

Confirm both with "enter".

This should work perfectly for you.

i downloaded this and played it, it was amazing how you did everything and made single player work! Its really beautiful, but i would only recommend the non mission version because #1, its kinda miss-leading were you need to go,#2 going to the power plant is fucking scary with the scream,#3 cant find the damn cave!!! #4 no flash light and night vision in the dark,so over all, just the walk around version is the best!

i don´t know how many hours it took me to create the whole map.

but it took me two weeks to create the landscape with the whole vegetation and the different areas.

but later i worked three months on the map to create the whole story, cutscenes, enemies and flowgraph systems.

wenn du einen bestimmten titel suchst, entpacke am besten einfach die .cry datei mit winrar.

dort findest du einen ordner, der sich sounds nennt, dort sind alle tracks drin.

i was the only one who worked with the editor and created everything, but i had one storywriter and a few betatesters helping me to create a better atmosphere and showing me bugs or other problems.

the song is called "the grey havens" and it´s from the third part of the lord of the rings. the compuser is howard shore.

i created the heightmap wirh the modify function of the editor, placed thousands of brushes and vegetation (trees, grass, rocks,...). don´t know what i´m going to do in the future, first i have to finish school^^

i think it will run quite good on your system, i can play fluently with high details on Q9450 @3,4GHz, 4GB ram and a Geforce 9800GTX

yes, it has. but there are to versions of the map available:

- storyversion: story, enemies, cutscenes,....

- landscapeversion: just the landscape, with- out the story and enemies for travelling through the landscape

Exactly THREE seconds into the video I knew two things: that Lord of the Rings music was playing, and that the rest of the video would be absolutely beautiful. You should be payed for this.
