When I say mega rich, I mean compared from Cashes perspective, I dunno how rich the guy was, but surely owners of profitable record companies back then earned a bit more than your average band back then.

Awesome scene, just a shame you missed the bit before where Sam cuts his first song short (for those who haven't seen it) since that creates the tension. Love how at the start Cash is trying to be all staunch towards Mr Phillips, but when Mr Phillips is straight up, you can see Cash at first is quite threatened, but he makes an awesome recovery and mans up, and the mega rich record tycoon subtly acknowledges he is in the presence of a master. Great acting, even if this isn't how it happened :)
