Flash Gordon is a hard character to do today. His very roots are the old school sci-fi adventures of the golden age (ray guns, cigar shaped ships and all that). If you try to update it too much then it's not Flash Gordon anymore but if you're too faithful it seems dated to today's audiences. It's a no win situation. Still, I would love to see them have the guts to do a movie set in the time the original strips were and just go with all the cheesy and dated sci-fi and just have fun with it.

I love Stargate and I just love Flash Gordon. Eric Johnson (Flash) is soooo cute.
Too bad the series ended...

Flash Garbage...it sucks...you could add cheese, tomato paste, and anchovies and it would still suck
