He put it as banjiya because someone misread the kanjis, it's a common mistake since Gintoki used an alternative non-usual reading of the first and second kanji (BAN as YOROZU and JI as ZU while suppressing the first one)

@AndSas666 The 2nd Anime season for Gintama is now officially confirmed! I had a huuuge grin on my face ever since I found out last week. It's been hearsay for a while now but it was on the cover of JUMP a while back saying it's true. So you'll be able to see episode 202, probably come the spring releases of anime.
