I think that i understood: green block is béta and alpha, bound together with GDP, then GTP comes and takes GDP's place. It provokes alpha and beta's separation. Alpha, sticked with GTP,, comes to the "blue thing" which is actualy adenylate cyclase. Hope i helped you a bit :)
some problems with this video: assumes all ligands are agonists; suggests the ligand (agonist) forces conformational change not stabilize an active state; says GPD is replaced by GTP rather than displaced by and says that GTP is an active form of GDP; Does not mention the gamma subunit or how the trimeric complex splits on binding GTP ; also does not mention the GTPase activity of the alpha subunit resetting the system. also more technical problems Not trying to be an @ss message me 4 more info

Hi, ATP is built up from nukeotides and phosphate. It is the key which fuels our body, the energy. So the reason why we eat is to get ATP. Through e.g glycolysis and then the krebs cycle we get NADH which then in the electron transport chain though a series of events syntesises ATP. There is good videos here on youtube on the electron transport chain and ATP syntesis, hope it was any good!

Can someone please narrate while things are going on? Even subtitles would suffice. And it's too dark, it's not very visually appealing. :|

Some simple narration and a lighter-colored background would make things much better. Otherwise good work.

I have a question tho, where does the ATP originally come from ?

The consumption process and glycolysis basically makes free electrons which are then used for energy.
