It looked incredibly violent, but that was extremely well done. Very humane. I've butchered hogs many times, and while we use a .22 instead of a hammer, I've seen it done both ways. This is what you hope for.

I agree it's a violent way to kill a pig and everyone should feel bad after watching it. That doesn't mean you shouldn't eat meat tho. It means you shouldn't waste what's on your plate because now you know what it took to get it there. If a predator had killed the pig it wouldn't have been as quick.
