  • cool

  • I request everyone to ponder on 2:22. May ALLAH bless us all Hidaya.

  • Narrated Mu'adh bin Jabal:

The Prophet said, "O Mu'adh! Do you know what Allah's Right upon His slaves is?" I said, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet said, "To worship Him (Allah) Alone and to join none in worship with Him (Allah). Do you know what their right upon Him is?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet said, "Not to punish them (if they do so)

  • subhaan allah

  • very beautiful. but i have a question about the first verse as i am weak in standard arabic. "la aqsima by yawm al quiama" is translated in the video as "i swear by the day of resurection." doesnt the words "la aqsima" mean "i dont swear." thanks

  • @oudmontage I am not an Arab but even i know that "Laa" means "No". I checked the Ibn Kathir expalnation on this which states that, " if the thing that is being sworn about is something that is being negated, then it is permissible to use the word "La'' (Nay) before the oath to emphasize the negation. Here, what is being sworn about is the affirmation of the final abode and the refutation against the claim of the ignorant that the resurrection of bodies will not occur."

  • Adoro questo giovane che sta recitando questa Sura!!! Molto bella la sua voce!!!=)

  • This is how I learn to recite this surah! I found it online years ago, but when I bought a set of the CDs from Egypt by Sheikh Alafasy, he recited it in a different style. Where on the net did you find this recitation, I want the rest, especially Surah al Haqq!!

  • @binterik Sorry but these are not available on the official Afasy website anymore. These are quite old recordings when he was young. They have been replaced with newer more refined recordings.

  • JazakAllah O u who believe pause to reflect what is going on in the world. The end is near n it is a reality

  • Soul touch voice ........Jazakallah

  • thank ya seak afasy you are the best i wish if i meet u one day god bluss you

  • I listen this everyday.I cry every time.As u say best i've heard.

  • how can i get mp3 for this???

  • hi my name mahmoud assaf and my email is

bkea11@hotmail.com : if like to contact me i will send it to you

    thanks

  • that translate not like quran Exactly !!!! thats translate like ( example : Human > that God created ) u now ! thanx alot 2) in quran say Human by arabic > (translate this word : Man ) in english ) thanx alot

  • @XDubaiFalcon JazaakAllahuKheran for your comments but this is one of the best translations we have in English and english can never replace the Arabic. Here man means the man as in mankind which also means human. An english person would understand the man here as human. This is why English cannot be translated exactly to Arabic and Arabic to English. You need to know the context and have knowledge of the culture.

  • its nice but we must do not make it like video clip

  • why? For people with handphones its easy to read and understand. Also wifi phones makes learning easier

  • the Quran recitation is quite good,it is very beautiful. Mashallah

  • Never heard such a beautiful voice, calm and strong and very impressive.

  • if 2 out of 3 oldest Qur'an is the same, what do u expect the third one will be?

Handling the manuscript to take the photos will damage its pages. Talk to a librarian. Old manuscripts are not handled unless absolutely necessary. It is a simple matter of preserving the text.

  • @abusohaib Flash photography is not necessary. It is the 21st Century. There are many old identical manuscripts of the Bible as well. That is a non answer...

  • nobody mentioned flash photography but rather the handling. Please do view the youtube video link provided above which is only a glimpse there are more extensive discussions that can be found in youtube on the topic.

  • ما شاء الله

  • Also, for those who say that the Qur'an was actually written by Prophet Mohammed (SAW) and that he was not in the right state of mind, do u really think someone who isn't in the right state of mind can write a book so flawlessly? The verses of the Qur'an are relevant and full of reason.

  • Watch ayat #4. taking about fingerprint to identify you on the day of the jugment , 1500 yrs ago !!! Human has unique finger print set was discovered in 19th century....some thing to think about !!!!

  • @unideal2006

Finger tips does not equal fingerprints. Someone can interpret that as saying "We can assemble everything from your bones to your fingertips." Sort of like to show the point that even a tiny part of the body can be reformed. It doesn't say "We can recognize you by them." It just says that everything can be remade exactly like it was before.

Our tongue and teeth are also unique.

  • @RhumanIaffectionP

"It just says that everything can be remade exactly like it was before."

    Glad you got the point.

Actually ALL our body parts are unique and can be distinguished by this magnificient thing called DNA. Even our eyes pattern are all different.

The question you should ask is, " Why finger ? why not hair, teeth, eyes, armpit, or DNA(1400 years ago there is no such thing) ? ".

Of all our body parts , why finger ?

  • im not a male n im just against ppl like u as u guys r so jobless to come here if u had to giv such senseless comments, if u want female singer u can get anyhow anywhere. u dnt need to comment abt the quran recitors u will be answerable to god. if u r interested in islam then u can agian get loads of info anywhere but plz get it frm the rite sourse if any GOOD question u can ask but plz use sensible words and sentence n act like a person who has reasoning.

  • I love sheikh mishary for the sake of Allah. He has such a heart-touching voice mashallah. Ya Allah, save us from the day of judgement, ameen

  • mashallah

  • nobody is asking you to convert. there is no compulsion in relgion for you your way and for me mine. You believe the gas was just there we beleive Allah was there and the proof is the Quran. Search for other videos on this site for miracles in the quran if you are interested.

  • Quran is amongst the utmost highest miracles of Allah (SWT) the revelations of Quran came to Prophet Mohammed (SAW) whom was unlettered and that is itself a miracle. If you think the Quran is not the word of Allah (GOD) (SWT) than I challenge you to go find one of the worlds best writer and ask him to articulate something as little as the first Surah (Fatiah) if not, than stop your pettifogging you feckless moron.

  • subhanALLAHH....MASHALLAH

  • mashulla

  • mashaallah sooo beautifuly recited by mishary al afasy, luv his voice

the meaning is soo scary das why i luv this surah

may allah protect the belivers frm the hell fire inshaallah

  • the surah gave me a chill down my spine...

and somehow, I am afraid... T_T

  • if u're muslim u don't hv to scared

  • bro..

being a muslim doesn't mean that we will 100% enter Jannah...

becoz everyday we make mistakes.. we enter Jannah NOT BECOZ of US BEIGN MUSLIM..

we enter Jannah becoz of ALLAH'S GRACE..

  • i am little girl maybe u were right

RAMADAN KARIM FOR EVERY ONE =]

  • Asalaamu Alaikum, of course PAradise is not garanteed to those who claim to be muslims, it is something to be earnt. The muslims take the middle path and we have hope in Allahs mercy (not inordinately that we only have hope for his mercy like the christians) and we also fear his punishment (but not to the extreme where we only fear his punishment like the jews). We must remember that Allah is the most just and know that everybody will be responsible for their full account.

  • yeah! in a car bombing!! that's what you meant to say! beeing a muslim means you not alive at all. somebody spend all his enfancy in madrassa, by tha age of 18, see 20. as his education do not mach the level of society because of his poor islam education, the option of becoming a kamikaze remain the only clear choise. taht's it.

  • So, what you're saying is that Christians are ignorant about their own religion or they don't like it enough to learn it or study it? Makes sense.

  • Allah did not give him such many miracles so that you can absoluately deny Allah's (you say God or however you name Him) final revelation? That easy??? Think again and again my friend. May Allah help you find the right path.

  • allah is great

  • Beutiful Qu'ran recitation may Allah the most merciful grant Shaykh Mishary entry into jannah, This recitation makes me so happy to be a muslim, I agree that christians are pagans but they are also the infidel they have persicuted Islam for at least 1000 years of the world's 1429 year history remember brothers and sisters, next month is ramadan may you do it Inshallah with the right niyyah assalamu alaykum

  • Beautiful.

    In Truth is Love Being.

    Thank you Allah.

  • Mansha'Allah what a powerful recitation! I love this sheikh and all other sheikhs.

  • All the Prophets (as) are alive in their grave. Jesus (as) is alive as well but he never died. All the Prophets (as) tasted death but they are alive in their graves and are able to hear you when you address them at their graves. Jesus (as) cannot, on the other hand, since he is not on earth.

And saying that no one comes to the father except through me, while believing that Jesus (as) is God/Son of God, is called PAGANISM. No better than a Hindu. There is a Hindu trinity as well, you know.

  • were in sripture dose it say that

  • Where in the scripture does what say that? Don't you believe that Jesus (as) is the son of God as well as God? Don't you believe that no one comes to God except through him (which makes him a separate entity)? Do you believe in one God or two? If you believe Jesus (as) is God/son of God, you believe in two gods.

  • All the Prophets (as) are alive in their graves, not just the Prophet Muhammed (sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam).

One god in three persons, HA. Does that even make any sense? Especially when these three persons talk to one another and refer to each other as different beings, saying one is the way, the other is the destination, etc. All smell like the Hindu trinity.

  • repentantmuslim

that's just bullshit make no sense at all. even their quran reconize the living JESUS. but the bible do not mention anybody call MOHAMMED. AND WATTA HELL IN THIS WORLD SOMEONE CAN EVEN TRY TO HAVE ME BELIEVE THAT MOHAMMED WAS, OR HE'S A PROPHET. i have yet to learn what he did, that ordinary peolple can't do.

  • Christians sure know how to emulate Jesus (as). I'm sure Jesus (as) used such abusive and aggressive language. Your hypocrisy knows no bounds.

  • The Prophet (saw) performed many miracles but the greatest miracle is the Qur'an itself. You don't get tens of thousands of followers in your own lifetime, leading a practical and non-self-deprecating lifestyle, by doing things that any ordinary person can do. For example, he split the moon with dozens of witnesses. All Jesus (as)'s witnesses are mentioned in the completely unreliable and unauthenticated gospels and NOWHERE else.

  • Dear friend, Moses and other prophets are mentioned in the Bible but I do not know what the hell is going on but Jews DO NOT RECOGNIZE JESUS AT ALL...How about that my friend. Then can you claim that Moses was a lier or God does not exist according to Torah. So we should believe whatever Jews believe and then we can ignore Jesus and Cristianity. Do you know better than Allah, the originator of you, me and other all thing in the heaven and on earth?

  • Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is mentioned by name in the old testament The Song of Solomon ch5 v16:

"Hikko Mamittakim we kullo Muhammadim Zehdoodeh wa Zehraee Bayna Jerusalem."

"His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters

    of Jerusalem."

In the Hebrew language im is added for respect. In English, the name is translated litrally as "altogether lovely". In the Old Testament in Hebrew, the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) remains.

  • New Testament:

    1. John CH14 v16: "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever."

    2. Gospel of John CH15 V26:

"But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me."

  • "Ahmed" or "Muhammad" meaning "the one who praises" or "the praised one" is almost the translation of the Greek word Periclytos. In the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, and 16:7. The word 'Comforter' is used in the English translation for the Greek word Paracletos.

Jesus (pbuh) actually prophesised Ahmed by name. Even the Greek word Paraclete refers to the Prophet (pbuh) who is a mercy for all creatures.

  • beautiful..im very impressed

  • woooooooooooooow MASHALLAH :')'''

  • salam bhau u have opened my heart may allah bless u from saving me form sin

  • Salam. Thank you for the warning regarding "MrTest1986". Qadiyanis are kaafir, they are definitely NOT Ahlul Qibla (muslims) or Ahlul Kitaab (people of the book). Information on islam should be taken from well informed muslims who follow the correct creed, not from pagans and charlatans.

  • he didnt mean he was god he just said no one goes to god unless people followed him at tat time at the time of moses pbuh he was the the way the truth and life and no whre does jesus pbuh say he is god or to worship i challenge u to find it.

  • Thank you MrTest. I accept the reason that the plural is used as a term of respect. I find it difficult to accept that it also refers to "his agency." In verse 3 and 4 of this chapter, it is written that "We put together in perfect order, the tips of his fingers." Does that mean that "his agency" partook in the perfect creation of man?

  • Please ignore MrTest1986. He is a Qadiyani which are considered out of Islam by all scholars unanimously (even by the Shi'a) and they try to rationalize rather that look at what is directly revealed. The "We" is simply a royal "We"; nothing more or less. There is no "agency" since Allah swt does not rely on his angels but they rely on him. This is like a unitarian Christian trying to explain the trinity.

  • Salam. Thank you for the warning regarding "MrTest1986". Qadiyanis are kaafir, they are definitely NOT Ahlul Qibla (muslims) or Ahlul Kitaab (people of the book).

  • Brothers Sisters..please touch on Dr. Zaghloul Al Najjar scientifical explanation for alaya 9.

    Salam

  • Salam, yes my friend, they use the arabic language in all surah in al-quran.

  • Dear friends,

I am a Christian and enjoyed this post. May I respecfully ask a religious question and the use of the Arabic language in this Surah? If not, that would be OK.

    Salam

  • adelcopt - welcome, however if you are a coptic Christian as your user name may suggest then your arabic will be better than mine. Also one thing that you must understand is that the english subtitles are a translation of the MEANING of the quran and not word for word.

If it is a genuine basic question then i will try to answer, otherwise i will find out from the learnered people.

However (and with respect), if your intention is to cause fitna and fasaad then please dont bother.

  • Abusohaim, my intention is noble, peaceful and for personal education.

Although I am weak in Arabic, I'm able to confirm that the translation of the meaning is accurate. Question: Why is it that at times when referring to Allah, does the Noble Quran use the singular form as in verse 40 "He" and at other times in the plural "We,Us..." v 3,4,17,18,19? I noticed this phenomenon throught most of the Quran. I trust that this is more of an Arabic question than a religious one but not sure. Thanks.

  • thanks for your question and it is to do with Arabic linguistics so i will ask someone with a good grasp of Arabic and will hopefully let you know soon.

  • It is a feature of literary style in Arabic that a person may refer to himself by the pronoun nahnu (we) for respect or glorification. He may also use the word ana (I), indicating one person, or the third person huwa (he). All three styles are used in the Qur'an, where Allaah addresses the Arabs in their own tongue. (Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa'imah, 4/143).

  • "Allaah, may He be glorified and exalted, sometimes refers to Himself in the singular, by name or by use of a pronoun, and sometimes by use of the plural, as in the phrase 'Verily, We have given you a manifest victory" [al-Fath 48:1], and other similar phrases. But Allaah never refers to Himself by use of the dual, because the plural refers to the respect that He deserves, and may refer to His names and attributes, whereas the dual refers to a specific number, and He is far above that."

  • Thank you very much for your reply.

  • Salaam Alaykum to both AbuSohaib and AdelCopt.

A good example to use would be the steroetypical speech used by the Queen of England: ..."We are not amused". [Im sorry if you are not familiar with the term]

Who is this 'We'? Are there multiple Queens of England? Of course not!

This is only used to add the effect of glorification and love.

Linguistically it is called the 'royal plural'.

    Salaam.

  • Wa alaykum el salam,

Hi subzero. Thanks for the explanation.

  • Mashallah allaah has blessed him with a wonderous voice. However, this is a recitation of when he was alot younger, if you hear a later version, it will inshallah make your hearts tremble by the beauty of recitation.

  • SUBHANALLAH!!!! PERFECT!!

  • this is a good resitaion but theres a better one by Mishary Rashed Alafasy. The best ive heard.. deliverd well

  • Assalaamu Alaikum - Masha Allah, i love that one too uploaded by pojo and islamanswersback but for me thisis the best.

  • ya allah what a sadness in our heart, we are appealing for your mercy for that fatal day

  • deffinetley the best surah al-qiyama ive heard. p.s. brothers and sisters please visit my channel to watch the surah al-fajr i have posted. its really amazing mashAllah.

  • la ilaha illa-Allah

  • well thank you and may Allaah guide you to Him and to His Truth As Salaam...

  • Yes we Muslims do believe in Jesus that he was only a Prophet of Allah ( and not his son) and we also believe that he is not dead and will return to this world.

  • jesus was not a prophet of allah

JESUS IS THE LIVING SON OF GOD

  • nope. nothing but a messenger. many before him, one after him.

  • Hi shalimaar444,

Can you explain to me who is who plese. cuz I am so confused. who is Jesus, who is God you believe and who is the third party? Moses never said God has a son or wife something like that neither other prophets. So what is written in the Bible you believe that Jesus said that he is the son of God. Does he has another brothers or sisters? or other Gods that your God associate with. thanks for your help...

  • "And behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. "

    [The Bible, Mathew 19:16-17]

  • Jesus (pbuh) did not say that to have the eternal life of paradise, man should believe in him as Almighty God or worship him as God, or believe that Jesus (pbuh) would die for his sins. On the contrary he said that the path to salvation was through keeping the commandments.and what is the 1st commandment???

When asked, Jesus (pbuh) merely repeated what Moses (pbuh) had said earlier:

"Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord."

    [The Bible, Mark 12:29]

(again he refuted that he is God)

  • He also said "I can of my own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not my own will but the will of the Father who has sent me, I cant imagine that God cannot do anything himself since he is the all powerfull.

  • may Allah bless u for providing the proof from with in the Bible it self, with all respect to our brothers n sisters form other religions , plz read about Islam.

  • no thanks , we have seen the end results.

  • No Muslim can call himself a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh). We believe he was the Christ. We believe he could do many miracles like you Christians do. We believe in his special birth. We believe he is one of the mithiest messenger of God!

  • We hope you believe in Jesus as well, the way he wants you to believe in him.

  • If yu do deny Jesus was sinless....then yu deny your own teachings........

  • We are more Christians than you Christians. Jesus (pbuh) clearly said that Muhammed (pbuh) will come, you deny him. We follow him.

  • Mystwicca:

Jesus (AS) was sinless. So was every other prophet.

  • Allah does not love you nor anyone.......Jesus is the only shield from GODS judgement.......accept it or not.......

period. he is sinless.........do yu believe he ever sinned as a man? do yu? I know yu do not.......

  • The prophets of Allah from Adam including Jesus to Mohammad (peace be upon them all) are the best people to have ever walked on the earth. I wish people would not be so narrow minded and make uneducated comments.

  • None of the prophets sinned. I believed there is no shield from God's judgement. We have to face him. I want to meet my lord, not be shielded from him.

  • beautiful. none wants to be shielded from his own creator. and if so, who could? Allahu Akbar

  • I see now yu only accept commentys which approve your understanding ..........sad really........do you know how many yu lead to DEATH!?

  • first non muslim comment on this video, nice manners too

  • I lead no one to death, how about you?

OH! You mean Muslims as a whole...

We led much less people to death than Christians. Think about it. Native Americans. Led to death by YOU. WWI and WWII were fought in Christian Europe (except in WWI the Ottomans took a side but I don't think they fought much). What about when the Serbians were killing Muslims? Muslims have never forced conversion in their lands but Christians have. Christian missionaries make little Muslim kids sing hymns!

  • his voice sounds young, mashallah very nice

  • i love quran and this so good

  • this is the best video i have ever seen!!!!

can anyone tell me if i can download this video please!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i love this recitation!!!!

    thankyou!!!!!!

  • ASA sorry for the late response. A better quality version can be downloaded as a torrent. I have now put the link in the description. Also splandoo is a good site to use.
