  • anyone having problems with detaching the peaces? im trying to cut something were duplicates of the same object will separate but the original wont. i have tried shift+ S, changing the load specs and enter. the cut lines just turn red and move the object when i hit enter. I have had this problem before so I end up stuck using uvmaster in zbrush. ill try to figure it out on my own but if anyone knows this problem knows to change it will be much much appreciated

  • @ewigkase1 Red usually means that it's not cut all the way through. look through your model and make sure the cut doesn't just stop halfway through, sometimes it doesn't recognize all the edge loops properly

  • @ewigkase1 Dude, i had the same problem again, and again and again, so i found the solution! u need to select the edges that u have to "separate" (usin C or shift+c, whatever) then u need do hit SHIFT+S! and its done, edges are separeted! i don't know why, in all my other works, just hitting enter they "unweld" but not now.. so, i hope this help u! ;) and sorry for my bad english

  • @aalbertomaciel the thing is that is exactly i have been doing but it wont work thats the problem shift s wont work after i used c to make the cuts. they wont seperate

  • jaja probably i did cry, and then the cigarettes

  • whenever headus does that thing where it does what it wants with cutting edges, you can go to the uvlayout window to the left and select 0 or 1 for edge extend and then just cut your edges until you're ready to set it back to 10. Dunno if you already knew this or not.
