  • yes, this is Egyptian folk. The song goes back a 100 years but no one knows who originally composed it. The song was sung in the film, "El Hob Keda". However, it was sung by Dario and became popular by Bob Azzam.  The original version is sung in Arabic, French and Italian.

  • Karharias, you are wrong Dario Moreno is Turkish. He was born in Turkey in Izmir in 1921 and he died in Istanbul in 1968. His real name is David ARUGETE. Dario Moreno was a Turk and will be Turk forever.

  • Yes, there was a Turkish vesion "ya mustafa ya mustafa kornerden gol atar mikro mustafa"(for mustafa denizli)but I haven't got this song in my archieve
