The best sport in the world is and will always be REA football, followed by baseball, and the worst sport in the world is and will always be soccer. While the World Cup was watched by people in Netherlands and Spain today, people around the world mostly watched the MLB games instead. The most popular sport in the world is football, not soccer. The Super Bowl is watched by way more people than both the World Cup and the MLS combined. Enough said.
Well, my only hope is that the World Cup won't exist because soccer is such a boring sport to watch. The Super Bowl and the World Series are good enough for me, plus we have majors once in awhile in golf, there are just way too many sports to watch. Soccer isn't needed at all.
I also felt sorry for the Retford goalie and in truth the whole of their team did not cope with the windy conditions as well as FC United did, throughout the match.
However, as with most away matches that I've been to, Retford's staff and supporters were very welcoming and friendly, which is in keeping with FC United's slogan - making friends, not millionaires.
It was great to see Sam's goal but we should send our best wishes to Retford United and their fans.

A good example of the hooligan's that infest british soccer with their antagonizing chants, the use of neckwear as slingshots and there blatant disregard for players safety by throwing things at the goal keeper at the end of the video. No wonder british soccer is viewed as a breeding ground for crime as this video is evidence of that. The best sport in the world is and will always be REA football, followed by baseball, and the worst sport in the world is and will always be soccer. While the World Cup was watched by people in Netherlands and Spain today, people around the world mostly watched the MLB games instead. I am so glad that there won't be another soccer game in 4 years.

Well, my only hope is that the World Cup won't exist because soccer is such a boring sport to watch. The Super Bowl and the World Series are good enough for me, plus we have majors once in awhile in golf, there are just way too many sports to watch. Soccer isn't needed at all.

I also felt sorry for the Retford goalie and in truth the whole of their team did not cope with the windy conditions as well as FC United did, throughout the match.
However, as with most away matches that I've been to, Retford's staff and supporters were very welcoming and friendly, which is in keeping with FC United's slogan - making friends, not millionaires.
It was great to see Sam's goal but we should send our best wishes to Retford United and their fans.

A good example of the hooligan's that infest british soccer with their antagonizing chants, the use of neckwear as slingshots and there blatant disregard for players safety by throwing things at the goal keeper at the end of the video. No wonder british soccer is viewed as a breeding ground for crime as this video is evidence of that. Soccer in the US is free from violence of any kind and supporters enjoy the game without fear of being attacked unlike in the UK where it happens all the time.
