If Shaq wasn't there Kobe could easily average 40-45 points per game easily. Lebron will never have the killer instinct that Kobe has. He's a great talent, and shouldn't have won the MVP last year. He had some difficult times that's for sure, but Detroit was a better team at that time. The lakers really didn't have much of a bench at that time either, most of the bench was older.
