I am trying to find the ones with japanese language and english subtitle. the box set cost almost 100.000. I think the japanese language is better and the dubbed english version. don't want the edit version. I want the 1972 version. the one you have is edit version dubbed?
I have a full set of the same Lone Wolf VCD version with Chinese subtitles since many years ago. Since then I have been searching for betterquality DVD full version but to no avail, until I saw your video here. After a few hours on eBay I found there are at least 3 boxset version including yours. And yours is a rare species actually. Hard to see any used one or even new.With some luck I finally found one set in Japan Yahoo auction last week and won the bid.

But even cooler is that I have purchased a theme CD from Japan yahoo auction. A bargain buy at your price too. I 've been watching these movies again andn again, never boring.

I had to find mine separately, the cases are different and mine doesn't have dubbing only subtitles. It also came with some background stories but it's part of the menu and not in the case. Excellent quality, for a Great Samurai movie.
@Macktube Though for every Lone Wolf & Cub there is a Shogun Assassin which are all really good dubbed versions of the originals, the main character and the main "bad guy" bother have these these bad ass dubs, like the voice actors sound like beasts, ha ha so it is really enjoyable.
@theneedledrop, Shogun Assassin the English dubbed version is on YouTube for free and let me say from the standpoint of someone who has heard the English and Japanese versions, the English dubbed voice actor is really really good at doing Ogami's voice, it's practically the same voice.
I agree. Shogun Assassin is one of the best dubbed martial art films put together and should be viewed as something different then the originals( which are of course awesome). The music was awesome as well.
@pekinobo, This was a longtime coming, fours years in the making after watching the chopped up Shogun Assassin and then reading the Mangas all last summer and finally running into the originals. CivilianSnowman and DVDWeasel are the best people to subscribe to for finding out DVD deals.
