Hey dude. How expensive is Dean Cadillac in your country ? Sound this model with SDB is really similar to Pantera <3. I found a model for a 600 dollars. Do you think that is good quality ?
Well the Blackouts definitely sound alot more heavier but when the sweeping came in it sounded too dirty :/ the dimebucker is abit more brighter but alot more cleaner tone. I would think staying clean would be better then playing a dirty tone for soloing but if your more to the rhythm then the blackouts should be recommended :o
on this video i was playing through a Crate GT 120 solid state amp, good jam amp and very affordable, but now i play on a Peavey Valve King Tube 150/150 watt amp, and the cabinet i run through now is a Marshall 1960 (reissue) very reliable, can't go wrong with those cabinets and they can take a beating.
You go to basically any music store and put in an order for an american made one and its an 1980 Caddillac reissue, i the U.S. Made models are more expensive.
Both guitars are sweet , I just ordered the Cannibal Coprse Kill Cadi , Im really not to sure what it sounds like , but just love the feel of how the cadi plays, I also have a dime-o-flame . Thanks for giving me a better idea , and answering questions on what other people have asked.
And how did the Cadillac sound with stock pickups, compared to the Dimebag, in your opinion? I'm planing to buy a Dean, but i want to stay with the stocks.
It sounded good actually, but i prefer active pickups, and the Dean FBD sounds great but if you do not have proper compression/settings, the pickups will cause irritating feedback.
The caddy has my vote, but I'm biased as I'm going to buy a select soon. The only thing I don't like about it is the finished neck. I want to strip the neck and polish the bare wood, that makes it fast as hell, like a music man.
I hear you bro, but its not dimeback, is Dimebag, as is Dimebag Darrell Lance Abbott...and the model is called "Far Beyond Driven" Dimebag Tribute Model...
i got my first guitar 2 years ago, dean dime o flage, put duncans in it, and now ill never play non ml guitar again, i wish i could afford a dean ml 79 cherrybust tho
Thats what i figured, so i went out and loaded my jackson with one! (could only afford one! lol) Thanks for the demo man. I almost missed out on the best tone i've ever had! Cheers! \m/_

norcoryde06 2 years ago
@norcoryde06 personally i like the razorback better
but lots of people fight over the fact that the ML is "better"
but i guess its just personal preference
and the price haha

which do you think plays better the cad or razor?
sexymanbeastwhore 2 years ago
Uh, i'm kind of iffy on the razorbacks, but the razorback plays similar to the ML models, same basic shape...a little awkward, but i like the caddy.
