  • Hey dude. How expensive is Dean Cadillac in your country ? Sound this model with SDB is really similar to Pantera <3. I found a model for a 600 dollars. Do you think that is good quality ?

  • D FBD By far man.

  • ever try gibson dirty fingers pickups,I put them in my caddy,it sounded so good i put the same pick up in my les paul,,

  • the caddilac has a deeper tone then id expect

  • I like more the first guitar.

  • Cool video. I was expecting to hear some drastic difference between the too but not so much.

  • hey what would u rather..im a lefty so there are not many options..but should i get the razorback explosion or the dean FBD?

  • @norcoryde06 personally i like the razorback better

but lots of people fight over the fact that the ML is "better"

but i guess its just personal preference

    and the price haha

  • razorback explosion, im loving it :)

  • Hi! Where did you put the battery for the active pickups??

  • in the back compartment that contains the volume "pots"....(knobs)

  • Well the Blackouts definitely sound alot more heavier but when the sweeping came in it sounded too dirty :/ the dimebucker is abit more brighter but alot more cleaner tone. I would think staying clean would be better then playing a dirty tone for soloing but if your more to the rhythm then the blackouts should be recommended :o

  • which do you think plays better the cad or razor?

  • Uh, i'm kind of iffy on the razorbacks, but the razorback plays similar to the ML models, same basic shape...a little awkward, but i like the caddy.

  • ...dean cadillacs rule....

  • is the cadillac a neck-through or dovetail?

  • I like the FBD tone way more. I'm getting that guitar .

  • More power to you brother.

  • what use you amp ?

  • on this video i was playing through a Crate GT 120 solid state amp, good jam amp and very affordable, but now i play on a Peavey Valve King Tube 150/150 watt amp, and the cabinet i run through now is a Marshall 1960 (reissue) very reliable, can't go wrong with those cabinets and they can take a beating.

  • Hey man, where was the Cadillac made? I want one, but I'm not sure because I want an American made one.

  • You go to basically any music store and put in an order for an american made one and its an 1980 Caddillac reissue, i the U.S. Made models are more expensive.

  • That's actually what I picked up, the three pick up version

  • Both guitars are sweet , I just ordered the Cannibal Coprse Kill Cadi , Im really not to sure what it sounds like , but just love the feel of how the cadi plays, I also have a dime-o-flame . Thanks for giving me a better idea , and answering questions on what other people have asked.

    \M/

  • oooh shit that cadillac sounds awesome!

  • i just bought won dont know much about them

  • hey,, what caddy is that??? like model wise?

  • It is a 1980 reissue sir!

  • And how did the Cadillac sound with stock pickups, compared to the Dimebag, in your opinion? I'm planing to buy a Dean, but i want to stay with the stocks.

    Thanks!

  • It sounded good actually, but i prefer active pickups, and the Dean FBD sounds great but if you do not have proper compression/settings, the pickups will cause irritating feedback.

  • fbd gets my vote hands down

  • hey does the dean cadillac have a single coil push up?

  • Sure doesn't bro, my doesn't, but you can get em' made like that man....

  • that caddy sounds fucking brutal!!

  • thanx man...

  • The FBD Definatly Its Beautiful

  • The caddy has my vote, but I'm biased as I'm going to buy a select soon. The only thing I don't like about it is the finished neck. I want to strip the neck and polish the bare wood, that makes it fast as hell, like a music man.

  • the cadillac sounds better 'more low end! CHEERS!

  • Thanx man, and glad i could get feedback from everybody...

  • the cadillac sound killer!!!

  • I actually prefer the sound of the FBD over the Cadillac, but I rarely like active pickups anyway.

  • which one is playing stuff like pantera???

  • Caddy all the way.

  • Sweet guitars. Which neck is the thinnest/fastest? Cad or FBD?

  • they both abou the same size on the neck, but for some reason the Cad is faster...

  • my fav company is dean but i picked the caddy over the dimeback

but the dimeback is a good guitar too

  • I hear you bro, but its not dimeback, is Dimebag, as is Dimebag Darrell Lance Abbott...and the model is called "Far Beyond Driven" Dimebag Tribute Model...

  • i got my first guitar 2 years ago, dean dime o flage, put duncans in it, and now ill never play non ml guitar again, i wish i could afford a dean ml 79 cherrybust tho

  • amazing guitars!!! my next baby is going to be a cad

  • cool

  • Is the bridge blackout an AHB-1 or an AHB-2? (AHB-2 being the new higher gaiun version.) Cheers dude and good demo. \m/_

  • I have the Original Blackouts, being the AHB-1...fo sho...thanx man!!!

  • Thats what i figured, so i went out and loaded my jackson with one! (could only afford one! lol) Thanks for the demo man. I almost missed out on the best tone i've ever had! Cheers! \m/_

  • Hell yeah man

  • does the caddy have jumbo frets and where is it made?

  • Does the Caddy neck feel as thin as the Les Paul?

  • Close to the same feel but not exact great guitar though

  • its not necessarily higher gain, but you can switch between more and less gain

  • Blackouts!

  • I prefer the sound of the Blackouts in this video.
