By changing their genre they've alienated about 1/3 of the bands fans that actually liked them for their music and were not just part of the brain dead crowd who would buy anything LP put out. But who knows this album might attract some new fans since now they sound like just about any genre XD.

@AnonymousxSource Well I got the 1/3 part from the album being rated 6.6/10 and in some places 2.4/5 by the people, that's pretty bad isn't it? I say they had found the perfect sound because while they where using that style virtually no one complained about how they sounded. If you look at the comments on their new album A LOT of people are dissatisfied and It's not because it's not the same it's just because it sounds bad, that's all.

I'll give one final objection that is valid objectively it's that their new album is NOT nu-metal so I think that is enough reason for fans to be angry, even if a band made a different genre album which actually had good songs everyone would still be justified in hating it since it may not be the genre
