I first heard this on the Depeche Mode box set (6 CDs of their early singles). There is also a longer version, like 10 minutes I believe. Excellent, thank you for posting.
For your information, Oberkorn is a small town of 3000 inhabitants in Luxembourg. Depeche played there a concert in 1981 in the very beginning of their career...the only appearance in Luxembourg....
que bueno volver a escuchar esto... revolvía los boxes de un amigo, los primeros maxies de dm, con esa onda tan new romantic, era todo muy mágico... hermoso tema, como big muff o nothing to fear... really beautiful... just imagine ancient gardens
remember listening to this b side when i was a teenager my bro was a huge dm fan ml gore has a very good knowladge of gothic music and uses it to great effect would grace any movie soundtrack pity he never scored a major movie
Oberkorn it´s a small town and Korn ít´s a small band compared with Depeche !

I love the fact its the b-side to The Meaning Of Love, quite a contrast.

They used this track in the early 80ties as their concert intro. I often asked myself, why it never got listed on the set list.

Cool tune. Extended version on B-side of 12-inch 'The Meaning of Love', of all songs. First DM tune that brought a lump to my throat. Beautiful :-)

On the b-side of the "See You"-12 inch (I think) is an extended version of "Oberkorn". It's just beautiful. And sad.
