  • wow keren banget ye.

  • The gong beat sounds like Kelantan Malay wayang and the trumpet is simply Chinese - this is really Peranakan.

  • thanks for sharing~~its good to see the baba nyonya cultural is still at our country~gue pon minat ngn lauk pauk masakan nyonya sodap terutamonye udang masek lemak & ikan bilis sambal belacan~yum~~gue support ceremony ni..hidup msyrakat baba nyonya!!! from a pure baba----

  • Juztlin, ya betol... the groom shouldn't gelek! macam nyonya lah. And the bride should have be more aggressive i mean more serious...

  • Hai... 1st time tgk orang baba kawen.... so cute dan sopan.. TQ sharing... My Big Boss kat tempat kerja pun orang baba... Mr Chan nama dia.... sangat baik sopan santun dan berbudi bahsa....

  • Thank you for sharing this amazing cultural insight with the world! I have Peranakan roots but never grew up with the traditions so I appreciate this.

  • During the ceremony, only the bride will sway BUT NOT the groom. But in this case the groom sways too which makes him look feminine in my opinion. For your information, the groom should walk like a mandarin which portray machoness in him. The tune of the chinese clarinet (seronee) is incorrect too. That particular tune is meant for lighting of candle. The event organiser should do a thorough research since he has gone this far to organise such an event.Ala..kus semangat! From a true blue nyonya
