Great instructions, but i only use the clutch on initial start up, and for reverse. Float the gears is how i shift, but did double clutch when i first started trucking way back in 79

1. How well can an average driver match the revs (within how many rpm)?

2. What is the maximum rpm difference at shifting (after rev matching) that can be tolerated without transmission damage?

3. Which is worse: shifting out of gear without the clutch or entering gear without the clutch? I would expect the latter to be much worse.

(I know it might be a dumb question, but I'm starting trucking school in a few months and I want to be ahead on my basic knowledge) .. I understand the technique, but what is the purpose of the double clutch? Thanks for your time and instructional videos.
